The best restaurants serving British food in Ambrook Teignbridge South West

Just had the best meal out that I had in ages at court farm. I had the roasted mackerel, New potatoes and salad followed by the white chocolate and brioche bread and butter pudding. I highly recommend court farm. We will be back!

Took my partner here who's a chef as I know they do great food and service and she said how very nice the food was and great service along with how clean and clean it was, we were served by Dan and we're very well looked after, if there was 7 star's I would have given you guys 7 fantastic time thanks for letting us dine with you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Jim and Jules

Great pub, Debbie and the staff are ace

We walked through the village into this cosy, charming pub. We'd phoned an hour earlier, and could only get a table for 6pm as it was fully booked on a Tuesday evening. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a good table, so could look out at the pub and it's characterful decor. The pies were superb. I had chicken and mushroom. The icecream dessert was excellent.

Visited this lovely little country pub this Sunday. Booked on line one hour before and were given a nice table by the window overlooking the green. The staff were all very friendly and the pub had a nice feel to it. The menu was simple but good. We both had the Sunday roast and were really impressed. The desserts looked lovely too but we were too full by then. Very impressed. Would definitely go back.

My wife and I are trying to get round as many different local pubs as we can at the weekends. This one was on our list today. It's right out in the sticks so it's not unfair to say that we went out of our way to get here. We were met with a sign on the gated car park across the road that says "we do not cater for walk ins". I cannot think of a more unfriendly way to run a pub. We turned around and left before even entering and we will not be returning. If my money is not welcome there then we will take it elsewhere. We went down the road to the Coppa Dolla which offered a much, much friendlier atmosphere. This would have been our 546th new pub, and I can honestly say that I have never seen such an unwelcoming place. With the Coppa Dolla just round the corner, there is no need to visit the Church House at Torbryan.
