The best restaurants serving British food in Shaw and Nine Elms Swindon South West

We have had several meals and a breakfast at The Woodlands since it has been refurbished. The food has been absolutely superb and extremely good value for money. There is a wide range of drinks, all reasonably priced and the newly refurbished look gives in a modern and very welcoming feel. With Mark back in charge, I know that we are always sure of a warm welcome and I am really looking forward to visiting again this weekend, for more of the same.

Food was absolutely stunning, made absolutely wonderfully by Mulumbi and the service given to us by Damun was top notch. Would really recommend the burgers and pulled pork loaded fries !! Great job guys !

I came here last Sunday (19th January 2025) with a large group of fellow runners. We all descended after our run at the same time and we are a fun loving, chatty and noisy lot. The staff were very welcoming and looked after us very well. It is a shame that the pub as we know it is changing. Thanks to the lovely bar staff that we met on Sunday and wish them all the best in the future.

Absolutely amazing night for a couple drinks with friends Rachel and Sam are amazing! They took their time to make the visit perfect!
