The best restaurants serving British food in Langport and Huish South Somerset South West

A fantastic breakfast, with wonderful sausages and bacon, coffee great and friendly service. Definitely a great way to start the day

Booked for dinner but on arrival, they thought we had booked for buffet, fortunately they had a table for us within a short time so we had a pre-dinner drink in the bar, which is fabulous and then went for a lovely meal in the Bistro, it is a small and intimate restaurant and quite modern and food is served on hot rocks, which you cook yourself to your own taste. Nice concept and food was really lovely BUT find that it gets pretty smoky when it is very busy. This is not a unique concept to us and it was a very nice change. Service was attentive and good and wine selection is great. Little pub at the Langport Arms is friendly and wonderful for pre or post drinks too.

Best pub in Somerset!! Loads of parking,great beer,lovely staff,regular changing food vans with top notch food,smallest bar ever but friendly staff and quick service!!😁💯❤️ regular events throughout the year too...music etc...

Met a friend for brunch on Sunday morning. Everything was really lovely service very nice coffee excellent, they had a full English I had crushed avocado on toast. Service was really good and it’s a really bright nice place to sit and have a coffee and something to eat. I particularly like it because there’s more dogs there than children always a place in my world.

Visit regularly for carvery. always tasty with good selection of veggies etc. staff very helpful. Would recommend for a good roast meal.
