The best restaurants serving British food in Totnes Town South Hams South West

Called the canteen now I think but great different food options, very tasty and fair price, makes a change from mainstream stuff.

Wanted some quick eats for lunch, so sat in the rear garden. I had green lentil soup and a cheese scone which was delicious, and my partner had jacket potato with egg mayo and beans which was good.

The food was good to very good, the service super friendly, great for a hotel bar/pub. The interior is conservatively furnished with partly antique furniture, very cosy.

Now as a Devonian I was aware that Totnes Morrisons could have just been an extension of the London yummy mummy brigade, hiding as felt hat wearing socialists whilst still raking in big bucks working
