The best restaurants serving British food in Wrington North Somerset South West

Nothing to say, the value for money is perfect. It's super practical when you want to eat English when you've just picked up the rental car, after landing at Bristol airport.

Firstly the bus cafe wasn't open here, and you need to wear a mask to purchase from the shop. They do some lovely produce and the baps are amazing value, it is a proper rustic food lovers paradise. A good selection of meats, pies, fish, vegetables and beers and ciders are available. Nice place to visit, pick up supplies if your passing by, also about the only thing close to the nearby Holiday Inn. Good spot..

We booked here for a sleep after our return flight. We stayed at the Hampton pre flight and never again, their beds are soooo hard we didn’t sleep. But it was different experience at the Fox. It was basic but more than adequate, had everything we needed and most importantly we slept well. The ladies behind the bar were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately we missed food orders but managed with crisps, nuts and wine! Just to give advance warning that they are very firm on check in closing at 10pm. I rang in advance to say our flight was arriving 9.30pm and would we still be able to check in and the woman said there are no exceptions and there are 24hr hotels around. That didn’t fill me with confidence but thankfully after our flight arrived early (thank you tail winds!) and I bull dozed through passport control we made it in time. So be warned here if your flight is late evening/night you may not have a bed for the night. We won’t be staying at the Hampton again when this is more comfortable and a lot cheaper

Fabulous pub. Great staff. Excellent menu. Superb, after we arrived at Bristol airport tired and hungry. Highly recommend a visit. Saw they had a piano but we didn’t stay long enough to play it!
