Great food great atmosphere dogfriendly too well done we will be back

5/5 Had a lovely evening last night. The food was great (huge portions! struggled to eat my pasta!) Heather and Tim were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much bother. Most definitely worth stopping off to visit even if its just to ask about the history and a pint! Looking forward to popping back and trying one of their roast dinners!

Seriously good food, excellent choice of drinks (including my favourite ale) and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

This place is spot on for lovely Ale and Casual dining. Non pretentious. The Landlord and Landlady are great and up for a laugh. It's a real world Pub (as they use to be before the lefty anorak crowd swamped the UK). Don't expect fine dining. It's just a good honest English Pub. Decent prices. Clean Loos and I'll be going back as often as I can.
