The best restaurants serving British food in Thames Head Cotswold South West

We are occasional visitors to the Crown, the location and traditional Cotswold style are very nice. The menu seems to have changed for the worse I'm afraid, but more disappointing, we found the rudeness of the lady serving in the bar quite outstanding, every encounter was met with a sarcastic and rude response. Such a shame as the pub is lovely but this is enough to put you off of visiting.

Very well presented ham and Cheese panini, served with salad and crisps. My husband enjoyed it. My signature chips with cheese and bacon, were plentiful and lush. I spilled my full mug of tea all over, because I didn’t sit it correctly on my saucer. Mug and saucer do not go together especially this one 😆. The staff was very quick to attend to it and got me a fresh new mug of tea when she finished.

Excellent meal at The Bell. Delicious food, lovely wine and brilliant service! And such a warm atmosphere and buzz in the pub too!

We came for some dinner on the 14th December - it was heaving!! The food was yummy but very very expensive for a burger that comes in a box and some non formal seating. I think 4 burgers with 2 large chip bags and some drinks came to £80+ So if you decide to come here , just keep that in mind. The atmosphere Is lovely though and staff were friendly. The farmshop was lovely but also pricey!
