The best restaurants serving British food in Mevagissey Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Excellent steak on special board cooked as requested. Scallops were great too. Very tasty meal after a day walking the coastal path.

This is the restaurant for Llawnroc hotel. We read some reviews and thought it had closed but it is definitely open and worth a visit. One of the best meals I’ve had for ages. Scallops and Hale followed by a shared Eton mess and cheese and biscuits! Staff were lovely and food 5 stars. Lovely sea views and just a short walk from the beach.

We don't know about all the other reviews but we have just had the most amazing burger called wheelhouse stack and crispy Hoffman chips for lunch with fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. It was absolutely gorgeous the burger was perfectly cooked the owner was a wonderful friendly lady and the atmosphere was relaxed. Even when my husband dropped his ring down the sink they helped him get it out. Would 100% recommend here and revisting on our next trip to Mevagissey.

Another lovely meal in Blue. Very tasty home cooked style food. Lots of fish choices as you’d expect in mevagissey but meat and veggie options too. Highly recommended

Lovely place, friendly overworked staff... we went around 6pm, had a party of 10 people, mains came quickly and accurately, lots of compliments and happiness all around. When we ordered dessert, the restaurant had been filling up and we have no idea what really happened... the puddings we ordered off the menu seemed to be something else? We ordered sticky toffee pudding for example, and it was more of a sponge syrup? Ordered a chocolate torte and it was more like a chocolate sponge with a random blob of ice cream? Very strange! The cheesecake base was terrible, soggy and nasty. So i think the chef is good, and perhaps the staff aren't quite up to speed... they were still very friendly and accommodating, did everything they could in a friendly manner to make it right!
