We had dinner at Whistlers Restaurant this evening and the food was fantastic. I’m gluten free and the waitress that looked after our table, along with the chef couldn’t do enough to make sure everything was ok. The duck confit was beautiful and the sticky toffee pudding was really lovely too.

The roast dinners were amazing! We were seated in our own room as a table for 14 including three small kids, perfect setting for us, making it really easy to keep them entertained without having to worry about anyone else in the room... 😃

Great food and service, accommodating and personal involvement by the chef staff

We received a warm welcome from the manager, Joe and his friendly helpful staff. That was the start of a memorably excellent evening. My companion and I chose the sole and it couldn't have been better. Cooked perfectly, soft, tasty and falling from the bones to leave a skeleton worthy of Top Cat. Accompanied with buttery new potatoes and a selection of fresh vegetables. Topped with a salsa verde of Capers. Don't be put off, it looks a lot but perfectly balances the dish. Followed by sticky toffee pudding that lived up perfectly to its title and a light passion fruit cheesecake. Highly recommended.
