The best restaurants serving British food in Cliffsend and Pegwell Thanet South East

Busy lunchtime due to reasonable weather and we popped in for drinks and a cake each. I had the pistachio and orange cake, it was sadly quite dry and not well flavoured. My wife had Coffee and Almond cake and she thought it was not as good as our many previous visits. Tea for the good lady and I tried a Pink Lemonade which at £2.50 for a small glass of lemonade with a drop of cordial was not a great result.

We were nicely greeted by the staff and were able to choose where to sit. The main dining room is very gorgeous, with a pub/old countryside house blend; very cosy, which made us feel at home. Our waitress was very helping and we were quickly served our dishes, which were delicious. From a perfect fish and chips plate to a delicious meat pie, perfect british cooking. The view from the terrasse is the main event. Will most definitely come back during future travel in Kent. Thank you !

Food takes ages (45 mins at least) unprofessional staff, small food portions and extortionate prices. The food is also very low quality, not worth the price of time
