The best restaurants serving British food in Cliffsend and Pegwell Thanet South East

Light lunch and as usual everything went well. Outdoor café serving limited hot and cold menu along with nice cakes and hot drinks etc. I had Bacon Brie and Cranberry Panini and two cans of San Peligrino, ny partner had a delicious Victoria Sponge cake with a latte. Cost was just over £12 and service was fast, quality was excellent.

Another Spepherd Neame disaster. We arrived and one of the managers/team leaders was perched in the car park vaping. V unprofessional, dreadlocks with blue ends. Pub was busy, plates and glasses everywhere, clearly not enough staff. Asked for a straw and run out. There is a tesco 2 minutes away! Great location but staff are simply not up to it. Shepherd Neame need to sort out their staffing. One of the chefs walked through the garden with frozen produce i am sure they advertise as fresh.

Food takes ages (45 mins at least) unprofessional staff, small food portions and extortionate prices. The food is also very low quality, not worth the price of time
