Great pub with lovely log fires and delicious food. We have been several times as it is fortunately quite local to us. The standard is always good, we love it!

We visited on New Year’s Day afternoon for dinner, it was our first visit. We were seated immediately the staff were very welcoming and attentive to us. The menu was very varied with lots of British classics we chose the haddock and chips, fish pie which was easy to make a choice for us. Great menu for children too with bangers and mash a firm favourite. Food arrived promptly and was superb we cleared the plates. We had starters, mains and puddings. We were in and out in 90 minutes which is perfect with children. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.
