The best restaurants serving British food in Garsington South Oxfordshire South East

Stopped for a quick coffee in the garden whilst on a walk. Nice setting, dog friendly. Staff polite and cheery. Had two coffees and two packets of crisps which came to £14 which I thought was very expensive! Coffee very weak, small cup and not very hot. Crisps were past ‘use by’ date by two months! They did hugely apologise and change them, but not a good sign. We were relatively early (just past 12), but it was very empty. Don’t think the visit would fill me with confidence to go and try food.

Maravilloso almuerzo en el recién reabierto @batandballoxford bajo nueva propiedad. Maravillosa comida hermosa cocinada a la perfección y una decoración y hospitalidad muy encantadoras. Gracias Bat y Ball y familia. Un almuerzo brillante del Día de la Madre. Muy recomendable!

We took friends out for lunch on our first visit and although the pub was clean the food was very very disappointing for the price. Will not be going back!
