The best restaurants serving British food in East Grinstead Herontye Mid Sussex South East

There are Cafes and there are great cafes.This one without doubt falls into the latter category.My wife and I new of it’s existence for some time but had not yet visited. Then came the day when we were out for a walk and it came on to rain and we took shelter in this nearby cafe.It was nearly teatime anyway so we indulged our selves in a nice pot of tea and some really nice scones baked on the premises. We both agreed that coupled with good service that this was one of the best cafes we had been to.Highly recommended.

Beautiful pub, great garden with play area for children and amazing food. Came after a walk through Newark Park. Perfect end to a lovely autumnal day.

Had great takeaway fish and chips for family group at lunchtime. From ordering over phone to pick up 20 mins later, really good service and value for money. Thanks to Megan and the kitchen team.
