Noisy but friendly - staff efficient and affable. Varied memu and food above average pub fare with a reasonable selecion of beers.

Once again outstanding food and fabulous customer service by Charlie and Amelie!! Cannot fault at all!! Busy but they handled it well, could’ve helped them both out by an extra pair of hands even if it was just running food or manning restaurant whilst they focused on the bar.

Wonderful place. I haven't been there in years until the 14th April 2025 with my daughter as a trip down memory lane. Good menu, easy to order and fast polite service. Food arrived in no time at all, exactly as ordered. Looked good tasted even better. I would go again anytime. The only thing I could fault if I had to. The metal knives and forks are a bit bendy when cutting food. I can live with that.

£50 total bill for 4. Never had a problem with the food. I went yesterday to celebrate a light lunch with 4x family members , when I was visiting in Gosport . I did not have the salad 🥗with my meal 🍽️ I was fine. Today I rang up said elderly family members..they were up all night with upset tummies.:( Not sure what the hygiene rating is! It needs to be reassessed. Will ring and say. To see what they say:) Hopefully 🙏 it will introduce more mindfulness in preparing the salads 🥗 Kind regards.
