Nice lunch with excellent service. A nice table in the corner. We were all very happy with the menu. Warning, portions were huge!

I work for a group of nurseries and I hosted their managers Christmas lunch at the pub, there was 14 of us in total and the staff were absolutely amazing! We decided not to go with the Christmas menu as there are a few very fussy eaters in the group so we ordered from the main menu and the restaurant was packed and all of our food come out hot, didn’t have to wait too long and DELICIOUS! The atmosphere in the pub is lovely and the staff were accommodating and kind. Overall a very very nice lunch and will definitely be going back next year!

Lovely family roast at the Vic. Food was amazing and service from all excellent, especially our waitress Maddy. Beautiful Christmas decorations and a lovely crackling fire all added to the ambience !

A very ordinary café located right by the station. It is an ideal place to buy a hot drink if you arrive early for your train. The coffee we purchased was okay but very ordinary. To be honest it was exactly what we expected
