The best restaurants serving British food in Cheddington Aylesbury Vale South East

One of the best pub lunches I have ever had anywhere - the beer was very good too. Staff were welcoming and cheerful, food excellent.

Not dog friendly - refused entry and it was nearly empty. Went to PE Mead instead.

The real ales just speak for themselves. You might find them as good elsewhere, but you won't better them. ( And if you can better them locally please let me know, I'm always on the lookout for a good pint) Apart from that, lovely 16th Century Freehouse, thatch, old oak beams, real fires and a big welcome.
