Whenever I’m working in the area, this is my place to go. Parking can be a struggle, but I’m happy to park round the corner and walk there as the food is that nice. The BLT and a latte are the best around 👍

I popped into one Thirty this Morning for a G.F. Breakfast. Unfortunately no G.F. Sausages. But I recieved plenty of Bacon to compensate. Lovely young Lady served me, very accommodating. Next Time I'll go for the "Big Breakfast" as G.F. bread are Tiny Slices. I checked out the "Breakfast box" in the Reviews it Looked BAZZIN. Overall a Very Pleasant experience ☺ The Young lady even worked out my Bill so it came back Cheaper. Bargain.

Gluten free food offering was really poor. Ordered the toast of the day sandwich which turned out to be a Schar gf roll straight from the packet with some cold dry turkey on it. So butter, no seasoning, no sauce, nothing. It looked totally lost on the plate with a pot of pale looking chips. It’s did come with a very small jug of ‘gravy’ but even this was tasteless and very watery. A really disappointing looking meal that I definitely wouldn’t recommend. Even some vegetables or salad on the side might have helped the dish to look more appealing but instead the roll and the pot of chips looked lost on this huge plate.

Good food great atmosphere on a busy Saturday afternoon, young staff need more help and training, but well worth a visit. Curry was very tasty and light.

Booked in advance and arrived in a timely manner. Beautiful surroundings and fabulous building. Parked in pay and display parking area where the meter didn't like money, so had to faff around with an app. Eventually paid and walked a very short distance to the hall. Signage wasn't great and the receptionist was busy away from the desk. No one in the bar except customers waiting to be served, so walked around and found where we should be. The ballroom has wow factor and we were quickly seated at our lovely table by a wonderful lady. She gave us menues, time to peruse and took our drinks order. The place had about 7 occupied tables and only one waitress who appeared to be keeping wver- increasing numbers of plates metaphorically spinning. She was great but customers orders were wrong, people waiting for dessert menues whilst the waitress seemed to be servicing the bar as well as us, and just a general air of quiet chaos! When our food order was taken, the waitress could not have been more helpful and accommodating, offering us chips instead of fries and a variety of breads. When our choices arrived; beef on sourdough and bacon, mozerella and cranberry on ciabatta with coleslaw and chips they were perfect!! The coffee and tea were excellent and we could not fault anything about our experience except the poor waitress just needed an extra pair of hands!

Went for lunch today (18th march 2025). It was an absolute shambles. Ran out of fish, left us standing in the hot food que, in the way of other customers. A member of staff served my pie meal while we were waiting for 2 fish and chips, this went cold, After a 15 minute wait! Eventually given a tab with table number and said they would deliver to the table, well....stood in the drinks queue and 2 plates of fish and chips landed in front of us, placed in front of my disabled mum on a tray, she was left to carry tray of food with walking stick, absolutely not acceptable (I had tray of my meal and drinks). Food was POOR for £47 for 3 meals and 3 drinks, £7.71 added for VAT! Sat at table, staff fussing round sweeping floor, cleaning tables, not a relaxing atmosphere! Staff on exit door saying thank you, have a good day, is lip service to the service we recieved, our experience was shocking, we will not be returning. John Lewis pride themselves on quality, good customer experience and all at an absolutely unbelievable overpriced establishment. I will not be telling my friends and family to eat at John Lewis, Cheadle neither would I recommend anyone to visit this place
