Went in for breakfast on Sat morning. Decent, honest food. £8 for the big breakfast (two of almost everything) & £6.50 for the standard breakfast, both inclusive of a brew. Fast & friendly service. Will be visiting again when the need arises..

Not the best, got my order wrong and charged me for something I didn't order, won't be going back there again

Dropped in for lunch. Very nice indeed and cooked so well. OK, so the Earl Grey Tea wasn't the best but that's being really picky.

Our 4th afternoon tea tray from here, never fails to please - plenty of very fresh sandwiches, savouries, little cakes, scones, clotted cream & jam, fruit.... superb value and excellent quality

I wanted to surprise my niece and nephew (in law) with an afternoon tea for their wedding anniversary. The staff were absolutely brilliant from ordering to delivering. I asked if one set of sandwiches could be left unbuttered, not only did they do that, they labelled them too! Everything was beautifully set out and delivered on time. What's more, our niece and nephew were absolutely thrilled with their afternoon tea, I think One Thirty Cafe Bar may well have gained new customers. Many thanks to you all.

On 28th February myself friend & 2 daughters had afternoon tea delivered plus a bottle of prosecco to celebrate what would have been my Mum's 94th birthday! I also like to do something nice as I know she wouldn't want me to be sad! The quality of the food was outstanding as was the presentation! I'm looking forward to lockdown being over so I can go for lunch! Service from Debbie was so nice very kind!

Had an afternoon tea delivered last Saturday, it was amazing value, quality of sandwiches/cake was excellent, really pleased. Delivered on time, and the food was extremely fresh, and very well presented in a catering tray. Would highly recommend.

On the last day of February my best friend & 2 of her daughters and I had afternoon tea delivered to celebrate what would have been my Mum's 94th birthday! She died 4 years ago & every year I try & do something nice as I know she wouldn't want me sad! I ordered for 4 together with a bottle of prosecco! To say it was outstanding would be an understatement! There was so much quality food presented beautifully! I'd never heard of the cafe bar found It on google & it was both the pictures of afternoon tea and good reviews that made me choose them! Can't wait for end of lockdown so we can all go & have lunch there! Thanks to Debbie who took my order & guided me through it! So kind!! The picture shown is just one of the 2 platters we got!!! Please give them a go you won't be disappointed!

I visit this cafe all the time and honestly can’t get enough. Even for just a sandwhich I love going in for and nothing is ever to much trouble for the staff all so lovely. Honestly recommend.

One thirty cafe have just delivered a fantastic afternoon tea for my mum's 70th birthday that we were unable to celebrate due to lockdown. She loved it, it was delivered on time and it was excellent value! (Don't think she'll need another meal for a while now!). Thank you so much! x

I ordered an afternoon tea for my parents' wedding anniversary. They were delighted with the quality and variety of food they received. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to cater for my mom's dietary requirements. They even sent me a photo of the afternoon tea before they delivered it. Highly recommended.

Delicious Afternoon Tea delivery for me and my wife - lots of various sandwiches, small cakes, pastries, beautiful large fruity scones with a pot of clotted cream and jam etc, even some fruit in the tray as well ! Will do this again ! Very good quality and excellent value, all in a nice big plastic tray with a lid.

Excellent afternoon tea today. Only downside too many crusts on sandwiches although fillings excellent could improve on the quality of the ham. Only one tub of clotted cream, don't know if this an error or usual. When I arrived to collect the platter was out on a table and a very hot day. Definately recommend and will buy again. Thank you

Fifth time in a row our orders have been completely wrong. I do not know how you can manage to get an order of bacon and egg on toast and a couple of breakfasts so wrong. But if they get yours wrong don’t question it, the customer is never right in this place.

Great range of food and drinks available. The milkshake looked great! We had the toastie and bacon roll to share - nicely cooked!

First time try today for a refurbed anf perhaps newly owned cafe. It is licencesed also! Good warm colours outside and a pleasant interior. A decent cafe good menu with locally sourced cakes. The coffee was ok...Had better. I wish the new team well. 3* is a tad low. Really a 3.5*!

came here for the first time this morning to have a quiet breakfast and brew in between the school run really nice good value english breakfast, like the plum tomatoes dont always see them on a breakfast pleasant service and nice pot of tea

We had first ordered an afternoon tea for two only £20 without Prosecco! But after finding out my friend doesn’t eat sandwiches we decided to alter the booking to a bite to eat and cakes galore!! I had my usual eggs Benedictine and my friend had a toastier! Then the our hubbies and her son joined us! There were so many cakes instead of them buying more they finished ours up! Deb even had arranged a little muffin with candle to blow out! We were made very welcome even so when we found out it was past their closing time! As deb says the customers come first! We are always greeted by friendly smiling faces when we go in and nothing u ask for is too much trouble! Would certainly fully recommend this place! And u can even have a sly wine in there alongs it’s after 11.00 am! Always a good atmosphere in there and spotlessly clean

Had the eggs benedict for breakfast today and it was excellent - washed down with local coffee which was also great. Cosy atmosphere and very welcoming environment.

Having driven past this friendly looking cafe on so many occasions I was able to visit. On entry I was totally ignored by a young waitress in an anorak and what appeared to be the owner who can only be described as downright miserable with a withering glower. I ordered a HOT flat white and a bacon sandwich. I waited ten minutes for a luke warm milky coffee and thirty minutes for the sandwich partly due to the 'owner' having to leave the premises to buy bread which strongly appeared to be a day old with a dry texture. Strangely it was served with crisps. No apology throughout and only on leaving I was asked if all was OK by the young girl. With no further time to waste I lamely agreed that it was. Give a miss if in a hurry.

I have been to One Thirty a couple of times for lunch. The staff are so lovely and the food choice is great. I had the best BLT last weekend from One Thirty and would recommend this coffee shop for everyone.

I have written a review for this place before but since then it has changed hands and is now even better!

What a very pleasant surprise, I always try and hunt out an independent café wherever possible and found a little gem here, great service, great food and pleasant surroundings. Lovely sandwich and a proper cup of tea.. all at a decent price...why on go to Costa ??...but hey, more gains for you guys...highly recommended...I'll be trying out your Chicken Chorizo Panini next time

Popped in here with my little boy on his bike and they were so welcoming and kind, they are a cut above in their manner and dealing with customers. Lovely artwork on the walls too that you can buy, they help local artists by all accounts and iv seen little art lessons going on. A real buzz and not to mention excellent cakes and coffee. I'll be back

Been passed this coffee shop many times, Finally stopped to have lunch. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, Very competitive prices. Young man working on his own when we visited . He was polite charming and helpful. I had a chicken avocado salad and chilli wrap my daughter had a chicken salad. He prepared both dishes freshly himself. No unduly waiting. The food was absolutely delicious and my latte coffee was the best I've had in a long long time How nice to find a competitively priced an comfortable plce for coffee and lunch. Don't mis out on this little gem. Well done one-thirty and good luck for the future. .

Enjoyed coffee & delicious lemon cake this morning. Quiet when I went in, by the time I left I’d chatted with another customer & the owners. Very friendly, made to feel welcome. It will become a regular place for me.

I just had the expresso but the food on show looked very good. It was all done with a great deal of love and skill.
