Got a "grazing platter" for a relaxed evening for two at home. A wonderful variety of tasty nibbles, beautifully presented and super-fresh. Clearly the product of a lot of work and preparation, and a real treat. Thank you!

I popped into one Thirty this Morning for a G.F. Breakfast. Unfortunately no G.F. Sausages. But I recieved plenty of Bacon to compensate. Lovely young Lady served me, very accommodating. Next Time I'll go for the "Big Breakfast" as G.F. bread are Tiny Slices. I checked out the "Breakfast box" in the Reviews it Looked BAZZIN. Overall a Very Pleasant experience ☺ The Young lady even worked out my Bill so it came back Cheaper. Bargain.

Return visit to the Gathering today following an excellent lunch a couple of weeks ago. Location ideal with ample parking nearby. Food tasty and served by pleasant staff. Food portions very good and the coffee is excellent. Pleasant experience worth a try if you are in Mold. We will return.

Having booked Afternoon Tea for my Dads 90th originally for 12, I asked if we could add 4 more to the booking and I was categorically told NO ! I asked if I could speak to the Manager & told to send in an email ?! This is whilst I was on the phone. I said if I cancel the whole booking are you ok with that and the receptionist said “if that is what you want to do” Obviously didn’t understand financial implications. I went online and there were plenty of tables to book. I did get a call back and had the 4 extra added to the booking. I wish is cancelled, the staff were rude, the outside tables had dirty crockery left there. The ashtrays were overflowing. I waited 15 mins for a drink whilst waiting for everyone to arrive. The ‘Afternoon Tea’ was a huge disappointment, stainless steel tea & coffee pots, with matching milk jugs that didn’t pot, you know the ones where the milk goes all over the table. As for them being speciality the only thing special was the cost as they were cheap Booker tea bags!! The sandwiches left a lot to be desired- chicken Caesar was Bookee ready made compressed chicken in mayo, the cheese finger had pickle on both sides of bread & had gone soggy, a tiny pork pie which was placed with the cakes. I sent 2 emails of complaint with no reply to either.

My wife and I decided to have lunch today (6 November) at "The Place to Eat" at John Lewis, Cheadle. What a mistake that was. We arrived at noon ot find the menu at the entrance didn't correctly reflect the food available. The paucity of sandwiches. The absence of soup. No menu at the hot mneal counter; staff there who had trouble understanding our questions and whom we had trouble understanding their annwers, servicng food that really wasn't hot enough. The hot drinks were ok. All in all an experience not to be repeated, and we won't.
