Went in a large group today and the service was great from Stacey. Food was basic but good for the price and brought out very quickly.

I love this place! I booked a tea party for my birthday. The table was set lovely with China plates, tea cups and saucers. Food was served on plate stands which was a great selection of sandwiches, pastries and cakes. I'm vegetarian, which was catered for and we finished with a scrummy cream tea consisting of scones, butter, jam and cream. Tea and coffee was plentiful and included in the price. We had a really enjoyable time. The staff are great and very attentive and had even put up birthday banners, which I thought was a lovely touch. I love the fact north perk cafe is a social enterprise and part of charity Ykids. Your money is helping disadvantaged children in the local area. There is always a happy, laidback, chatty vibe here. Hidden gem in Bootle. Don't be put off by the entrance; this is a hidden gem with great food, service and atmosphere. Amazing views of Bootle and beyond to Liverpool and a good value lunch menu.
