Food was very nice, great decor. However the bistros customer service let it down badly: On booking we were asked to pay £10 deposit per guest ( on a Saturday afternoon in October). We asked what was on the deserts list and was told to go up and take a photo of it to read at the table! When ordering deserts we were asked to order quickly as we had a time limit of 2 hours!! One of our party cancelled due to Ill health Leaving 7 paying ladies. We were not refunded the deposit. One more negative- the parking spaces are far too narrow resulting in a dinted door when leaving. Sorry but won’t be returning any time soon, far too many other eateries close by that offer excellent customer service.

Decent spot for a pint, but the prices are a bit steep for what you get. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are friendly.

This pub has fantastic views and warm and inviting inside ... it gets 3 stars just because it's dog friendly.. I decided to have the famous cheese & onion pie meal and wow that was a let down it was so soggy obviously just heated in a microwave I only ate it as not to offend my guest ... shame really as the pub it's self is nice n cosy .. and dog friendly thats always a plus .. the gravey was tasty tho..
