The best restaurants serving British food in St Michael's Liverpool North West

This cafe isn't as good as it used to be since the French chef who managed it left and I'm not sure this cafe is even open anymore when it is in a Buddhist centre and relies on someone reliable who lives there to manage it. However it is in a lovely and peaceful venue and there are toilets nearby to use if needed.

No puedo elogiar al personal aquí lo suficiente. Éramos una fiesta si 5 , uno de los cuales tenía algunas alergias muy complejas, la joven que nos sirvió tomó nuestro pedido y tomó nota de todos los alérgenos . La comunicación era genial y ella explicó que daría instrucciones al equipo de cocina. Incluso antes de que llegara la comida, la joven vino y verificó con nosotros sobre ciertos ingredientes durante las preparaciones. La comida era muy buena, pero lo que lo hizo para nosotros fue lo fantástico y comprensivo que era el personal, nada era demasiado problema y recomendaría Milo lounge

I haven't used the hotel but I drink here often. A well run classic pub with good ales . A true gem right in the heart of lark lane 👌

4 minutes ago New It's about the staff, the owner must change the rude staff and the young kids, who just snarl you and they just have their own group of customers to smile to or play with, I faced some racist staff, plus they make you feel uncomfortable even some usual customers with them. It's ashame, I used to love the Lodge but I will never step a foot there again unless the staff gets changed. Hope the owner takes this seriously.

8 of us including 3 children went here for christmas day. We have never been so it was a gamble. We were greeting and seated straight away. We had preordered food so that was easy. The staff couldnt have been any more attentive. Very helpful. Thank you for giving up your own Christmas for us customers. The food was outstanding and we were so happy. I thought it woipd be stressful and hectic. It was staffed perfectly and made into a calm fun welcoming place for everyone. Thank you very very much
