This cafe isn't as good as it used to be since the French chef who managed it left and I'm not sure this cafe is even open anymore when it is in a Buddhist centre and relies on someone reliable who lives there to manage it. However it is in a lovely and peaceful venue and there are toilets nearby to use if needed.

Disgusting food and poor customer service. First we waited for our food for over 45 minutes when the restaurant was very quiet, a table of two next to us said they had a similar wait time. We ordered whipped goats cheese which tasted like stale sour cream. We knew immediately we could not eat it and when we asked the waiter to take this off the bill, he responded rudely, saying this was their best seller and they sold over 150 portions per week. I know good goats cheese and this is not it. The honey chicken tenders tasted bland with little flavour. We couldn’t taste any honey. The portion of sea bass was very small and overcooked, again with little flavour. It came with small cut potatoes (which were nothing special, akin to school dinners). The dish also came with cold tomatoes over the top. They were very bland and tasted as though they had come straight out of a tin, but what’s more as they were cold they made the whole dish wet and soggy - very unappetising. A Caprese salad was just ok, no dressing, vinegar or oil, and none offered. Poor experience overall. I suspect this place may be under new management as I’ve had some decent meals there in the past. Avoid.
