The best restaurants serving British food in Pennine Chorley North West

Really lovely staff, very friendly. Food was perfect pub grub and they didn't hold back on the portion sizes! We got the chicken burger and the beef burger and they were both massive and spot on, asked if we could have chips instead of fries and they did it no problem and so worth it, the chips were unreal. Shared an Eton mess for dessert which was lovely and refreshing, especially in this weather! Highly recommend!

Malthouse farm is a lovely location 👌🏼 Pints are expensive though and I get about haha 🍺

Came here a few months ago and the food was not great. Thought I would give it another go but I will not be back again! Food was below average and barely warm. Cheap but certainly not cheerful!
