Came here a few months ago and the food was not great. Thought I would give it another go but I will not be back again! Food was below average and barely warm. Cheap but certainly not cheerful!

Called today on way home as it was Sunday thought we would eat out .. was met by friendly staff who took our order for drinks promptly and asked us if we was eating . So we sat down ordered our staters I had tempura prawns theywere cooked from scratch . Cooked from fresh the batter was good and the prawns were not over cooked and the sauce was nice too.. my partner had the calamari and that was nicely cooked and plenty full .. we had a dessert I chose the chocolate truffle cheese cake with a raspberry sause and it was very nice my partner had the banoffèe pie that was nice too.. said we would call again was told the place was closing down thought bit strange as the food was good and so was the service .. then we read a few reviews on trip adviser and for some unknown reason if you went to book by phone it went to the other restaurant to take the booking . These bookings were taken but not past on property to the fat bull with all the correct information . So the confusion of people turning up when the other restaurant had not passed on the correct bookings made this place sink faster than the titanic .. so the blame lies not with the staff of the back bull but the captain of the titanic the idiot that decided to redirect the calls from the other restaurant the blame is with them in my view .. just like to say to the staff of the fat bull .. thanks for a nice meal and I know you will find new employment .

Despite the disapointment of the beers earlier it was more than made up for by the quality of the food which was really excellent - if a little short on quantity !!

We went as a family party of eleven on mothers day. The place was very busy and pre-booking was essential. On the day we went a special Mothers Day menu was served. There was ample choice of starters, mains and desserts. The price was £18.95 for two courses or £22.95 for three. The food was very good and considering how busy the place was it was cooked and served very well. The staff were very efficient and helpful.Looking at the menu for normal days there is a good choice of food but the prices are quite high. The food was all cooked from fresh, certainly not from frozen. We will certainly be visiting again in the not too distant future.

The restaurant was busy, we were ushered to our table upon entering rather than being seated first to look over menu and a drink. The waiter seemed to rush us when sat down, the first thing we noted we had booked the table for 5 people it was only set for 4, they hastily found a chair and stuck it on the end of the table. He again said sorry but then forgot to set the table, so no cutlery or serviette. Throughout our starters we asked for more serviettes, as none were on the table, they didn't bring them, so in the end one of our party got up to go and get them off the pile near the kitchen! Our drinks took over 15 minutes to arrive, and it took them around half an hour to take our food order (the table behind us had been in before us and they still hadn't had their food order taken even though they ended up taking ours.) There then wasn't enough of one item on the menu so I had to pick something else. 2 soups arrived cold, so we had to send them back. They were taken back by a young waitress then brought back with no spoons, it took a few minutes to grab her attention again to get spoons, when they came they were desert spoons. We asked for salt and pepper several times before getting them. The ranch steaks were not good, the meat was poor and they were not cooked right or seasoned, and this dish came at £16.95. I had ribeye, which was mediocre. It took far too long to order drinks and receive them, some people on the next table were getting up and going to the bar themselves, looked like they were sick of waiting too! There were only 2 waiting staff on for a full restaurant, the manager wasn't helping that much, while the young girl and the waiter were running around like headless chickens. We found out they had been let down with staff on the night. The ladies toilets were freezing, there is no heat in there it was like walking into a fridge. All in all, it was safe to say we were very disappointed with the service throughout the night and also the poor quality of the food. We will not be visiting again.

My 2nd visit here and I will not be going back. It's dirty, and the service was terrible. We waited 10mins for a drink & a further 20mins to order food, and there was hardly anyone there. I watched a waitress wipe a table & brush leftover food onto the dirty chair covers and the floor. There was an empty table near the entrance that had a spilt drink over the surface & onto the floor which was still the same when we left. The toilets are a disgrace, dirty and smelly. The men's room floor was wet through - & I don't think it was water. This was all before 4pm - wouldn't like to think what it would be like by closing time. The food, when it came, was awful, I would expect a burger that costs nearly £10 to be big & juicy, it was tiny with a bit of limp lettuce thrown on top. Sorry for this crap review but if I was a restaurant inspector I would shut u down. Get your act together, clean up, & serve some decent food......

This is my second review of the fat bull. In my first review (August 2015) we were blown away by the fantastic food so we returned. We had the similar food to our previous visit. My partner had the steak sandwich which on the previous visit came on ciabatta, however this time it came on soggy toasted bread. The chips with our meals were oven chips. It seems that some cut backs have been made and we were disappointed after the previous visit. We waited a long time for our meal however it was quiet in the pub. However we have the nacho's for starter with pulled pork which were delicious. We may return at some point in the future but we were disappointed because of previous high expectations.

Our party of four adults and two children went here for Sunday lunch after being unable to get a table at another nearby pub. We did have a bit of a wait and were (wrongly it turns out) told by a waitress that there was no Sunday lunch on. But when our food arrived it more than made up for these issues. We all enjoyed our meals of steaks, burgers and chicken and it's good to go somewhere where the food seems fresh and home cooked rather than out of a vacuum pack. The staff were all very hard working and friendly and I would definitely go there again next time we're in the area visiting relatives.

Booked a table for 4 people last Saturday evening. On arrival it was clear that it was really busy but we didn't mind waiting in the bar area. I'm not sure if there was a mix up with tables as we ended up staying on our rather slanted table in the bar area rather than being taken into the restaurant, again we didn't mind as it was clear the staff were rushed off their feet, but were all very friendly and welcoming. To say it was as busy as it was the food was perfect. The blackened chicken was gorgeous, would definitely recommend. Will most certainly be returning but might try earlier in the evening so its not as busy.

Had a reservation here on a Saturday night. Whilst I understand a Saturday will be busy - we were waiting for almost one hour to even be seated in the restaurant. At one stage we thought we had been forgotten about - as other couples, arriving after us were taken straight through and seated in the restaurant. Of course, we don't mind waiting - if it's worth waiting for. But did not receive any apology for our lengthy wait. Cannot fault the food, but sadly the lack of communication from the staff about the wait has convinced us that we will not be returning.

Went to the Fat Bull on the 16th January to celebrate my Brother-in-laws Birthday. Was looking forward to it as I had heard good reviews. Not sure why now. House wine was awful and obviously bought in very cheap. My husband and I decided on a sharing platter for our starters. This came out after everyone else had eaten their starters, not sure why as it was a cold dish (they did apologise and say we wouldn't be charged). However, the bread they served was so stale! it was an insult to serve it free or not. The olives were awful, obviously just out of a tin, or jar, and tasteless. My Sister-in-law ordered garlic flatbread, and it literally came out burned, it was black. Main meal we ordered the steak platter to share, cooked exactly as ordered but a shame that 2 of the steaks were cold when reaching us. The onion rings again were burnt and so hard. The chips were nice. Both my Brother-in-laws had steak and also said that these were nice but unfortunately the pepper sauce let this down, described as out of date and glupy! The waitress wasn't very attentive smiles and almost throw our food at us, came to bring more drinks and didn't clear the empties away. Deserts ordered but sadly didn't have any apple pie! £180 total bill, £30 isn't bad per head but would have expected more for it. Would I go again, not in a hurry!

Called in for a steak after seeing a advert that half price steak night was back on. Was told on ordering you have to have a starter or a desert to get half price steak. The advert should of at least said T&C apply. Did not want a starter or a desert so left. Luckily I live fairly local but would of been really disappointed if I would have traveled any distance. I think you need to put that somewhere for people to see before they get seated and waste there time ordering. They still do the best Sunday roast in the area which is 5*

Went to the Fat Bull last night with my husband. We were greeted warmly by I would say the person in charge of front of house. We were seated straight away as we had booked but it wasn't busy and there was plenty of tables available if we hadn't booked. I ordered mushrooms and my husband had the ribs to start, the ribs were piping hot but my mushroom were cold which was a real shame because they were so tasty. I guess they were left standing waiting for the ribs to come out. For mains I had surf and turf and my husband had steak, chicken, pulled pork, both meals were piping hot and delicious. We Were asked when our starter plates were being cleared if we'd like to see the sweet menu and I had to point out we'd not had our mains yet which was a bit of a awkward moment but apart from that it was a nice evening just a shame it was a bit busier to give it a bit more atmosphere. One little point I would say though is to ask your waitresses to tie their hair back, I saw one of the girls walk past with her hair in someone's meal and if that had been my meal it would have made me heave.

Visited the Fat Bull with friends for the first time. The menu selection was very reasonable but the quality of food did not meet up the menu. I had a starter of black pudding which was ok but exceptional my main was a pulled pork burger, the burger was over cooked and dry my wife had ordered a side salad to go with her meal. It did not come with the meal and we had to remind the staff and when it arrived it was just a bowl of mixed lettuce. Thought the meals on the menu were overpriced. Visited this Restaurant for our wedding anniversary after hearing favourable reports from a friend. A nice bar area when you first arrive and helpful staff to take our drinks order.Inside the restaurant there was a lack of atmosphere and the surroundings were very much that of a pub, with bear wooden tables and a lack of any interior décor. The service was good and although the menu was a little limited, the food was ok, but nothing special. The meal was however quite expensive and probably not good enough to warrant the cost.We decided to have coffee in the bar area at the end of the night, which was fine although the staff did seem to want us out of the door so that they could sit and drink with there friends.Don't really think we will be going back, bottom line I don't mind paying for an expensive meal, as long as its value for money, cant really say that this was.

I usually opt for a fillet steak which is always cooked well. My last visit the skinny fries were under cooked and rather anaemic. The was something going on the kitchen - chefs clearly fed up with something. This place always seems understaffed and more importantly the wait and bar staff seem very inexperienced and lack customer focus. They need a decent manager and either new wait on staff or some training. Bring back the Red Cat!!!! PS - the accompanying sauces for the steak are poor and for goodness sake get some decent dijon and english mustard!

We booked at the fat bull as a party of 11, a family get together for the first time in more than 6 years, that was absolutely ruined by incompetent waitresses, menu mix ups, and rude staff, who evidently just could not cope! First of all we got a call hours before the booking to say we had to pre order, which was inconvenient, to say the least, but even more frustrating when we got there to find that this had actually confused things, as they had changed the menu, and the food online was not all available. This caused a few mix ups, one of them was my meal, I was given the wrong food, by a waitress that, not only didn't know what "surf and turf"was, she thought budwieser was a suitable cider!!! I mean, come on!!!and then instead of an apology, I got one of the staff stood next to me with another dish of food, expecting me to swap when I had started eating, I actually had to tell him to take it away! We later worked out that my 86 year old grandad was given my food, and ended up with very rare steak, that he hadn't wanted, but kept as he didn't want to make a fuss! The list of mistakes is honestly that long, I can't list them all, from side dishes not being brought out, drinks orders taken but not served, with no explanation, we had to ask to find out they had run out so just not bothered bringing anything! The final straw was when one of the male staff brought out the pre order form and asked which one of us submitted it, then proceeded to make her go through it, until I told him he was being very rude and to take it away! This was my sister, who was already feeling very bad for picking the restaurant in the first place, and he just completely showed her up! If that wasn't bad enough, he then made a rude comment about knocking 2 things off our bill, and how he thought that would suffice! In the end, my father actually had to speak to him about his attitude, and one of the group ended up in tears! I have never been so disgusted with a poor service in all my life! And they should be thoroughly ashamed, the staff member in question did later apologise to us about his attitude, but it was too little too late! A family reunion ruined by terrible service, and even worse staff! Thank you very much!!!

If you want nice food (albeit not amazing) but rubbish customer service you should definitely visit this restaurant. We booked for 11 of us for a Saturday night and wasn’t told to pre-order. On the day we got a call to ask us to pre-order which was a big inconvenience with hours until the booking. We sent the pre-order through for everyone’s starters and mains. First of all the waitress didn’t know what cider was and brought the wrong wine. The starters came out and one of them was missing – after 5 mins or so we asked about it and they had to have it made up. Then the mains came out – they brought the sides separate and people had their main part of their meal going cold whilst waiting 5-10 min for their side. There was a mix up with the steak dishes where the waitress told us it was the wrong thing and we accepted. When one of the meals seemed to not come out we enquired and was told it was our mistake and there was no meal. So we then had to argue with them to make up the missing meal as they tried to fob another different meal off on us. My chips didn’t come out so I had to enquire about that – when I did they brought raw pre-cooked chips out and they had to be sent back. At this point we ordered a few more drinks and after 10 mins one just hadn’t come so when we asked we were told there was no more of that beer left so they just didn’t bring anything. The worst thing was the attitude of the staff – you can get past certain mix ups. I understand its Saturday night and we were a bigger party but the way they dealt with the situation was out of order. One person came out with the pre-order form and asked to speak to the person who sent it. He was making a point in front of the whole group that they were in the right and the person who had sent it had caused the issue. After going through the form it was apparent that we had sent our orders through correct and that was not what came out of the kitchen. However, the staff member continued to argue so we had to turn away and basically tell him we didn’t want to argue. Later he came to put the bill down and told us he had removed 2 items and so ‘That should suffice’ and this was said in a bad tempered manner. In the end one of our party went to speak with him to tell him his attitude had made the situation much worse than it was. He said we were making snide comments – we were making a joke out of it and trying to make the most of a bad situation – and we only did this after his behaviour. We will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.

Table for 16 please ends up split table and they asked us to pre-order starters and mains. Arrived 6.00pm left 8.30pm 10 adults 5 children (aged 2 - 8). Some starters off menu so had to reorder at the table. Took ages to come and one starter left off they argued it hadn't been ordered but I was sat next the person who ordered it as a replacement for the Pate which was off the menu. Waited ages for the mains after the starters only came to the table twice for drinks orders. Left at 8.30pm they had only just cleared the mains never bothered to ask if we wanted another drink or sweets. Some bits off mains left off or didn't arrive with the meal. Good quality food though and well presented pity about your service it was not good no it was rubbish. May not be related but the two dinners who had the prawns had the runs in the night.

Went last night and took advantage of the half price steak offer. Three girls out for a natter and a meal, could not have been better. Nice welcoming bar area to wait in for all of us to arrive, very friendly staff, pretty busy but did not feel rushed or over crowded nice buzzy atmosphere, but not intrusive so you could have a chat. Then we get to the food, all ordered steaks and variety of sides, all served exactly how ordered and promptly, considering i am a medium well done kinda girl. The steaks were of superb quality and had no fat on them at all, we had Rib eye, Flat Iron and SirlonVery nice bottle of white wine at a reasonable price and very nice to see that un-like a lot of places the driver wasn't ripped off with ridiculous prices for soft drinks. All in in all a great night at a fantastic price £47.00 for 3 soft drinks a bottle of wine and three steaks and sides. Did also note for future ref not overly expensive for the quality of the food even if it is not on offer. Will we return yes without a doubt.

my girlfriend and I were out for the night to see a band and wasn't keen on eating at the venue so looked for somewhere nearby to eat quick beforehand, and stumbled across the fat bull. all I can say is we were soooo glad we did, there is an early bird deal of half price steaks tue-thurs, and i am normally wary of these as i have had rubbish food because its on offer but this was certainly not the case here. i had the rib-eye which was beautifully cooked, exactly as i asked for it and my girlfriend had the flat iron steak, this could not have been cooked any better by anyone, it just melted in the mouth, the service from Chris and Sara was first class, we weren't rushed and they both had a smile to help too. Had a great meal here with my 12 year old son. It was steak time and he was really looking forward to it. He went with a fillet steak cooked medium rare and I went with the Sirloin cooked rare. On week nights between 5 and 7pm, steaks are half price! The quality is the same as other times, but the price is half. I have never seen this kind of deal before. All sides are extras, but that didn’t really boost the price much. With a glass of house red (my son had a coke) it was an excellent meal. You have got to try it.

Late review for 1st December 2014 Booked a table, not very busy steaks where very good hence the three,BUT the fat chips where thin,?, my starter had a sauce on it that was bad (they did apologise) and knocked it off the bill, Sticky toffee pudding was very poor, really just a ginger type sponge, very light and def not sticky! Since it was so quiet we did expect better service and whilst the two staff where very pleasant we struggled to get drinks service after the first round. I was OK AS I had a bottle of wine in front of me(took half home) but had to wait ages to order more water/ soft drinks etc.So this place does have potential, they just need to take care of their guests, check the sauce is fresh, serve home made THICK OR FAT chips...make real sticky toffee pud and brush up on service.

Visited Saturday with my husband, parents and in laws. The service from all the staff was wonderful. So Friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and surroundings was great for a family get together. If your going as a 6, ask for the round table. So much easier to chat to each other. And then the food, great and at a reasonable price, especially compared to everywhere else in Chorley. Will definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I set off from our home with a view to drive and find somewhere new to try. After around half an hour we stumbled across this place and initially opted for a drink only. However, having then read the menus (à la carte, Sunday and specials) we opted to dine here. The Fat Bull, I guess, is aiming higher than your standard pub. Perhaps a gastropub. And in my view it succeeds. The food offers well presented, tasty interpretations - not your standard fare. Staff were friendly. Price wise reflects its higher aiming. Don't expect two for a tenner here. But if you want something freshly made, tasty and are prepared to fork out, this place is highly recommended.

We visited on a Saturday evening as a party of four and ordered starters, main courses and desserts. The staff were all very cheery and attentive and the food arrived promptly after ordering and was absolutely delicious. As a vegetarian I often struggle when eating out and it was refreshing to find a good quality pub which offers plenty of choice and variety for vegetarians. We all really enjoyed our visit and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others!

Great tasty food and good service. My partner had a steak sandwich and said it was the best she had tasted. I had the stake and ale pie which was great. A good atmosphere and it's worth going in for the half price steaks which we were to late for but shall return to sample. A nice relaxed atmosphere.

We "stumbled" across this lovely little establishment this evening (15/8/15) we were out with our Eleven month old grandaughter. She was made to feel very welcome by all the staff, even though she was quite chatty and vocal to say the least. The food is fresh and very tasty, we had starters and a main course, from lovely crusty bread and olives to Lemon Sole Fish, my husband had Blackpudding with Poached Egg followed by Steak, Chicken & Pulled Pork and he said it was cooked superbly. Our grandaughter had Chicken Goujons (made with fresh chicken) and Baked Beans, came with Chips and she had a few of them too. (Kids meals £7 for two course of £9 for three course) followed by Icecream (well grandad had most as it was a good size portion, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate) we had bottled water and soft drinks and the bill was £59 - for the food, the service, the atmosphere (music playing in the background on low) was a great price.

Hello we have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions ..We went on the 31st of July and waited ages for our food over an hour just for the starter . It was busy so gave them the benefit off the doubt ..... We went back on 8th August at 3 Oclock there was only 4 people in the place yet again we waited ages for our food ..The chef was more interested in having a giggle with the waitress ... The kitchen door was open . We saw him wiping his sweat off his head then prepare some one elses food .When our food came out . The egg was not cooked properly with the white off the egg still clear .. This fish was all batter and the chips (11 of them ) was dripping in fat .. I never complain not worth the hassle we just wont go in there again

My wife booked this restaurant for a evening meal and I was a little dubious as I had eaten here when it was the Red Cat.We arrived early and were greeted by the owner and made very welcome and promptly shown to a table , there is no rush to order and you get plenty of time to read the menu. Ordered drinks which came promptly as there were only 2 staff on duty(owner and waiter). When we ordered our food,3 steaks, they came in a reasonable time (app 15/20 min)and were all cooked beautifuly .It must be noted that veg is all priced separately,so we all ordered ours individuely ,don't,Next time we go we will only order 2 lots of veg for 3 people chips ,cauli, carrots, onion rings, mushrooms, just too much had to leave some. The starters are quite large and again very well served ,as we dined the place started to fill up but the owner and Chris the waiter coped excellently. All in all I cannot fault the restaurant ,good reception good food good service, and good atmosphere,if anybody is warey of trying here due to Its history ,all I can say is do as I did and as like me you may be pleasantly surprised. Will deffinately be going back,

We visited this place when first converted from the Red Cat to this "Gastro Style" pub, we vowed not to go again, it was awful. HOWEVER we clearly forgot this vow and was lured into the midweek offer of a 1/2 price steak, midweek. 7.10pm was time and the offer ended at 7pm, give them their thoughtfulness (along with a regular & a friend of ours had also just arrived and permitted the 50% discount) the Manager allowed us the deal. FOOD: 10oz (dubious weight, I believe it was 8oz max) Ribeye Steak was cooked (more medium than MR) excellent, bar charred, smoky and seasoned fantastic. Garnish of oven cooked whole tomato was pointless, please Chef do something a bit more ingenious with this. Side orders - which are ordered separately at a cost (which I like as the steaks are priced accordingly) creamed cabbage was good, mushrooms good, chips (a must with a steak) really poor. Soggy, unseasoned - thoughtlessly pathetic limp examples of poor respect to the a National staple diet - The Chip. We ordered both types skinny & fat both pre bought cheap chips. Make great Chips & you can justifiably charge more...... Peppercorn sauce just stripped my mouth away, and having discussed with the Manager he concluded it was the end of the bottle where all the crushed pepper sits and this was given to me. Thanks Chef for your thoughtfulness, just a little more cream and "let down" would have spared me the numbness for the next 30 minutes. SERVICE was really, really slow..... 7.10 sat down & ordered 2 drinks (Ps the Real Ale is 2 cold & limited choice) the drinks service was too slow, the food ordering was too slow, the food arrival was too slow. In fairness we only saw 2 staff (1 was the Manager so his fault) Restaurant is not huge and 1/2 full with people finishing at different stages of the meal. Just looked a little uncoordinated, all too often you see the (2 staff) walk around with empty hands. Our steaks arrived and then had to wait for sides a little too long. Also the peppercorn sauce was forgotten, following my return of the sauce. However they took this cost of the bill without my asking.OVERALL: £26 2 meals, 2 drinks. surprisingly YES we would go back for the 1/2 price steaks offer. The slow service becomes "acceptable" given the price. If this improved and this visit was a one off then we would go back at another time and with guests. However I don't believe this is the case, given past visit & other feedback. So a quick stop off when an urge for a good properly seasoned char-grilled steak is fancied, with past knowledge on how to beat the slow service, chips not to order, tomatoes to frown over and sides to repeat.

I don't normally write reviews but feel I must after reading some of the reviews about The Fat Bull. My family and I have now been here 5 times and not once have we had a bad meal. The kids menu is by far the best value for money one I have ever seen. The adult menu may be limited for some people but for us it's spot on. The 1/2 price steak night is an absolute steal. We visited the Fat Bull with a party of 13 family members for my wife's 60th birthday and we had a really nice early evening meal. The party ranged from two 3 year olds to a 85 year old and all were well catered for. Due to size of party they did ask we pre order starters and mains and this worked well. Several had steaks on the half price offer (NB you order and pay for each vegetable separately. All nicely cooked with just one that was slightly fatty and a little undercooked for my son in laws liking. Those who had the fish & chips enjoyed those, one had a salad and one steak, chicken & pulled pork. They looked after the two 3 year olds very well.Several in the party had sweets and again all enjoyed and the drinks were reasonably priced. Our waitress was attentive and worked hard and was also serving several other parties by the time we left. It looks like the mid week steak offer is bringing in the clients. We will certainly be back in the near future.

There want any real sense of atmosphere here which was a shame as the food when it came was lovely and presented well. As a last minute visit on a Saturday evening we were very happy that there was any availability, after calling numerous recommended restaurants that were fully booked. The food wasn't overly special but was certainly over priced in comparison to other highly recommended restaurants in the area. The young waitresses were helpful and provided service with a smile however we feel if they were given some guidance from the management team the service could be improved.A plate/glass smashed in close proximity to where we were sat and one of the what i would call management team walked straight past it and left a younger member of staff to clear. To me, this is a health and safety hazard and should have been cleared immediately no matter what your 'status.'All in all i was disappointed and won't be returning.

The quality of food was excellent but let down by the service. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant so there was no excuse for the terrible service. We had side dishes that never turned up because the waitress "forgot "to write it down. There was a limited choice of wine due to stocking issues. Although very pleasant, the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Looking at previous reviews it appears that the management still have not addressed the staffing problem. Most of the staff appear to be teenagers who seem to have had little or no training. Drinks spilled over the table, inattentive, in a word: clueless. The management need to spend more time and money on training.Food average. A steak that was supposed to be medium was barely cooked at all. Their suggestion was to re cook it again (with the sauce on).Drinks selection is poor. Cask ales seem to rarely be available. On arrival, we were kept waiting for about ten minutes in the reception area before anyone showed us to our table and then we were left, sitting there, without being asked if we would like a drink, for 20 minutes. There were no Christmas crackers on the table, no Christmassy atmosphere at all. The food was fine, when it finally arrived but, too little, too late. The staff never even wished us a Merry Christmas when we were leaving. The most miserable Christmas night out ever. Not surprised at the number of empty tables (mentioned by a couple of reviewers) we would not go back.

The child's yorkshire pudding was still frozen when the meals finally came out of the kitchen and took another 10-15mins for them to re-serve - she was starving!Even just the drinks took 101-15mins each time we ordered. We were going to order desserts but no one came to our table for about 15-20mins so we decided to go the bar to pay instead - there were 3 x girls stood there chatting.Although the food is actually quite nice (apart from the frozen yorkshire puddings) the service will guarantee that we will never visit here again.
