We had breakfast here on Sunday 8th September while on a bike ride. We received a warm welcome and were immediately given a jug of water while we placed our order, which was a lovely touch. We sat in the garden and had coffee and a lovely cooked breakfast. Simonburn is a pretty little village and we will definitely be back to the tearoom when we are next in the area.

Popular pub with great food, decent atmosphere and big with car nuts. Wasn't there on a car day, but a good pub with pleasant staff/owner.

Four of us for dinner. Great starters, mains and dessert... Couldn't fault it at all. And all for a reasonable price. The guest beer was top notch too..

Excellent service and food. Denisa was really helpful in helping me organise a meet up for 7 friends with a set menu. Our table location in the extension was excellent for having lots of chat. Will be returning. Thank you Battlesteads.

This is a favourite pub of ours when we visit Adelaide. We always get a decent porterhouse steak cooked right and the sticky date pudding is a nice finisher. I recommend you book a table as the restaurant isn't large and every time we have been there it has been busy. They have a huge beer garden but you have to collect your meals from inside. They are a little light on their wines and don't have any fortified wines for finishers but they do have a good selection of beers.

Made the mistake of visiting here for a quick coffee. 25 minutes in the queue, minimal staff and the slowest coffee making I’ve ever experienced in my life.
