Lovely cafe for coffee and cake

Lovely stop with friends before heading back down to the South, good food and drinks! Friendly staff. Facilities were clean.

Just received a 2 star hygiene rating.Won't be eating here again in a hurry.

Visited after 4 yrs today and was very impressed with the extended seating etc but there is no point in having numerous tables when there was obviously a shortage of staff. We waited 45 mins for our and beans. Others were returning to the till asking why they were waiting so long too. Perhaps hadcwe just had a scone and coffee it would have been lovely but waiting so long for hot food was very poor service Very disappointed overall.
