Great food, nice cosy fire in winter and one of the best beer garden in the summer. Family run pub. Dogs welcome to. Castle view from beer garden, staff all nice and friendly and they check for allergens also, often visit this pub
The staff are really nice and really good at their job , highly recommend, especially Aidan, the store manager, who I cannot speak highly enough of. He is very friendly, and is a credit to the Costa brand!
Quirky little pub/inn. Possibly the oldest in Barnard Castle. Food was absolutely delicious, highly recommended. Indian, English, Chinese and Lebanese and Thai food available.
