The best restaurants serving British food in Lea Bridge Waltham Forest London

I ordered fish and chips and a kebab portions were vast ,would have one fish and chips for two people . Curry sauce thick and gloopy, mushy peas ok. Had to construct kebab myself, pitta not cooked and dry foil container with meat salad in a plastic container and two tiny containers of chilli sauce and garlic sauce. They didn’t ask me what sauces I wanted or salad and just gave me it all in a bag even though I was standing there waiting for twenty minutes, so fish and chips good but vast , kebab dry and diy, I don’t live in London so was a bit surprised at £40 bill, I did order medium portions .

It's not often you come across such dedicated and caring service, and Naresh truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. If you dine at Giraffe, I highly recommend asking for Naresh – he'll make your meal exceptional!

our granddaughter had just moved to the area - we tried the cafe and were very pleasantly surprised - service was friendly - it took a while for food to come but it's made from scratch and that takes time - it was worth the wait - everything was delicious and the coffee was the best I've had in a very long time - will definitely make it a regular stop when we visit the area!
