It's not often you come across such dedicated and caring service, and Naresh truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. If you dine at Giraffe, I highly recommend asking for Naresh – he'll make your meal exceptional!

Loved this Restaurant. Love the Ambiance and it was really clean. Good view of the River Thames . Love SouthBank . The Food was very good and the prices were Reasonable. Good service . 200 % Reccommend.

We visited here late Sunday night after a London night bus tour. They have a separate gluten free menu with plenty of choices. Food served fast, we had the nacho’s as a starter then the gluten free beef burger. What stood out for us, was how polite and obliging the staff were.

We like going to this restaurant for the food and location but the disabled toilet is a nightmare. My son is a wheelchair user and needs to turn and transfer in the toilet that had so many bins he couldn’t. The waiter moved one to the other side but then he couldn’t wash or dry his hands and not turn around -Please could you do something as it really spoiled our experience.

Good spot, nice atmosphere, quick service. Food was tasty but oily and over salted, sat on my stomach, frineds said the same, left me parched for hours.

Considering the location the prices are good, even dining outside the views are good but not great. The service was very good and the food was fine but not great but you aren't paying for cordon bleu. The menu is a little light on options but if you are looking for a quick bite between sights then this place will do

After we ate and waiting for a friend. A person of the staff asked as to move to the booze area. Our friend was going to order there too. She made us feel uncomfortable. :/ As they do not have power socket, we had to rent a power bank and of course we did not finish charging our phones. Food is good! Waiters great! But management staff not good!

We did not have a great experience at this restaurant, were told upon entry we needed to be out in an hour which seemed odd as there were plenty of empty tables. The service was okay and when the food came out unfortunately it was not hot I would say warm at best and not very enjoyable! Wouldn’t choose to dine here again when next in London

My friend and I were trying to decide if we can afford to go here. Looked at the menu TODAY - 23rd JUNE and yet no prices!! Why?! I came on trip advisor to see if anyone else had this issue and turns out just a few days ago someone did and was told in a reply by Giraffe it was an IT issue and now fixed - well I can confirm it isn’t fixed (why say it is??). Leads me to wonder why? Do they charge what they want when you turn up on different days? Concerning it’s not there and concerning someone has said it’s fixed when it isn’t. Annoying as we are on a budget and now don’t know if we can afford to go or not.

Very loud. The food was good overall. However, it was our first evening in London and we didn't read our bill properly and thought the service charge was VAT and paid it. If we had been paying attention, we would not have paid it. Service was only ok.

Gostei muito da comida e do atendimento no Giraffe. Alem disso, fica muito bem localizado, em frente ao Rio Tamisa. Eu recomendo muito. Preço justo.

Reservamos una mesa más temprano en el día, así que nos sentamos enseguida.La camarera fue agradable y amable (pero un poco agresivo al agregar lados!)Tienen paquetes de niños pequeños para entretener a los pequeños, lo cual fue bueno.Gran menú para todos los gustos. Pedimos algunos entrantes para compartir (pan de ajo, pollo y calamares). Todo muy lindo. Nuestros platos principales también estaban bien, tuve el tazón de burrito desnudo y mi compañero tenía el pato salteado.Buena relación calidad-precio, volveríamos a visitar si en la zona.

We lucked out as arrived at London Eye too early and were struggling to find anywhere to eat breakfast, a short 5 minute walk away though we found Giraffe. My first experience of this chain and if the experience we had here is anything to go by then we will all definitely be going back! The service was exceptional, very friendly and very fast! The breakfasts were all huge! And the hot sandwich with small drink for £7 was great value, as the sandwich was HUGE! Including bacon, sausages and a hashbrown (I swapped out the egg for sausage). Sandwich came with small juice or hot drink. My only slight issue was with the female toilets; the cubicles are all very narrow and then the toilet roll holder is huge and sticks so far out that when you sit down on the toilet you have to lean and twist slightly to avoid it! So not the most comfortable.We were surprised that a tip was automatically added to the bill, however I understand it is not compulsory but suggested. Perhaps this is common in London chains? However, we were more than happy to pay as were all very happy with our meals.

We were seated at a booth straight away, but waited a good 20 minutes before someone eventually came over to our table and took our orders. If we weren’t so hungry we would have walked out. I ordered the Teriyaki salmon and Jasmine rice and my husband had a Smokey Joe’s burger. The food surprisingly came out within 5 minutes. The salmon was really nice but the burger was mediocre at best and arrived with a pitiful amount of fries. My husband was still hungry afterwards. It was tiny. Even I was surprised as we had the same burger at Giraffe at Gatwick a few years ago and it was amazing. It was another 40 minutes before we eventually called someone to order coffees and asked for the the bill at the same time. There were plenty of wait staff working in there but we felt ignored from start to finish. In the end we just agreed that at least we were in the warm as it was freezing outside and tried not to let it spoil our day.

My friend and I decided on a whim to eat here before going to a West End show. It is easy walking distance from Waterloo station and about a 20 minute brisk walk to the West End. The Southbank area is really lovely on a wintry night. We explained to our server that we would only be there for about 50 minutes and we ordered our mains and desserts at the same time to help speed the process along. They were very receptive to this and our main meals came out within five minutes of ordering. My friend had a bacon and cheese Smokey Joe (burger) and I had Katsu chicken curry. They were both delicious and my server even brought me extra Katsu sauce free of charge. We also had some delicious strawberry mocktails. Afterwards, we had Chocolate & Hazelnut Filled Churros to share. They were incredible. Can’t recommend this branch highly enough and, to top it off, even though they don’t accept all vouchers at this particular branch, they do accept Unidays codes. A great time from start to finish. Highly recommend.

The service was terrible and my friend received judgement from the waitress for ordering a particular food. They scammed us by telling us that the dumplings came with the meal then charged us £4.00 for them at the end of the meal. They overcharged us and our meal was supposed to come to £30 and it came £37. I am absolutely appauled with this service and we will not be returning here.

Went here after seeing a film at BFI and was not disappointed. The atmosphere in this place is a great accompaniment to the food, and the service is also very good.

We visited here for lunch at the weekend in between The Shrek Adventure and The London Eye. This is a great place to eat if you have children with you. The service is quick and the food is great.

My wife and I met one of her friends here for breakfast during a brief stay in London. It was my first visit to this particular Giraffe. The location is pretty good however the service was decidedly patchy. The food was ok but the company was good.

Three of us met here for a late Sunday lunch. It was busy but we were seated quickly. We very much enjoyed our food including a flat bread, chips and spicy rice bowl all of which was delivered pretty quickly considering the crowds.

We came across this restaurant by accident. It’s not the poshest place BUT the welcome is good, we were served quickly, the food was tasty and arrived quickly. It was well priced. The thing that made it for me was I was an idiot and left behind a bag with a photo album in. I thought I had lost it for ever but called them and not only had they found it and kept it safe but posted it out to me . I want to say a heart felt thank you to all the staff there and I hope many more people stumble upon this gem

Teurer als McDonalds, deutlich schlechter als McDonalds... Ganz ehrlich, warum sollte man überhaupt zu diesem Restaurant schauen? Einziger Vorteil: Viel Auswahl, was leider auch wieder eine Indiz für schnelle/ungesunde Küche ist.

I stayed at the Sea Containers hotel and went for a walk down the river bank for breakfast before heading to my morning meeting. It seems breakfast in London doesn't start very early. Nothing was open until what I consider late morning. I finally came across this restaurant that was open at 8am. The pancakes were OK and since I was the only one there the service was good :)

We both ordered fish and chips.

Visited with a friend and had the Up Beet burger for the first time. Absolutely delicious. Fries were piping hot too and service was good. Mocktail didn’t really taste of much for the price so would stick to a Coke next time but the Up Beet burger will be ordered again!

Had a meal here bank holiday weekend. I am not usually a big fan of chain restaurants but this experience was faultless. The service was excellent, the food was great and the whole meal was very enjoyable, The food was excellent quality and reasonably priced.

The food was great and there was lots of variety in the food options. The katsu curry was amazing. Service was a little slow but the sever was very friendly. The restaurant is close the the London Eye so it was also very convenient. Sit outside if you have the chance!

Took my girlfriend for a birthday breakfast here on her recommendation,she had been to another branch she said the food was great there.she ordered pancakes with maple syrup I ordered the steak and eggs with spicy salsa.the food was awful I took one bite of the steak i had to spit it out into a tissue tasted like I could only describe as washing up liquid.my girlfriend's pancakes were awful too she couldn't eat it.i would not recommend eating here.

Recently had fish and chips there. It was overfried and awful.  Not recommending this branch for food at all. Overpriced.

Seated inside, o.k.. Service was good. Drinks came early. Great Cole Slaw. Battered Cod was o.k.. But, the Fries ! The Fries were terrible. A great British dinner ruined by aweful "Frozen" style Fries. Can nobody peel a potato ?

The staff were friendly and attentive and prompt to boing water to the table of 6. Drinks arrived promptly as did the food once ordered. Portions were not much bigger than a starter would have been up north!

Il locale è ben curato, il menù non è particolarmente vario, lo staff è cortese ma i prezzi sono abbastanza alti.

Estuvimos en Giraffe un par de veces la semana pasada , esta bien para comer con niños ya que el menú infantil es de su gusto para adultos lo típico sin dificultades pero muy bien elaborado.

Tenía ganas de probar la comida en este restaurante después de buscar en la red un lugar donde comer cerca mientras estábamos de vacaciones en Londres desde Australia. Lamentablemente mi familia y yo estábamos bastante decepcionados. El personal era encantador y las bebidas sabrosas, pero las porciones de comida eran terribles. De hecho, tuvimos que comprar más alimentos en el camino a casa después de gastar 80 libras en Giraffe (para 4 personas). ¡Eso es casi $ 160 en Australia! ! No me malinterpreten, la comida estaba muy buena, solo eran porciones muy pequeñas. Creo que me dieron 6 papas fritas de haloumi por 5 libras. . Esto era completamente ridículo. La hamburguesa desnuda + ensalada costó 11 libras, que fue un robo en la carretera. ¡Ojalá el resto del Reino Unido sea mejor!

Food below average. Fish and chips was mostly batter. Fries were room temperature and soggy. The chicken in the salad appeared to be from a can.

We popped into Giraffe before going on the London Eye and were really impressed by the food and the service. This Restaurant is highly organised and we didn't have to wait long for our food or drinks. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I like this chain of restaurants and enjoyed sitting outside on a warm and sunny evening. The food and drinks were good and the service friendly. There was a service charge automatically added to the receipt and that type of thing annoys me.

Arrived at lunchtime to be seated straightaway...good start. The waitress then arrived at our table, stared at us for an uncomfortable moment before asking us "did we know what we wanted?". At this point we hadn't even received a menu, simple mistake. Menus distributed and choices made, we waited for lunch to arrive. It arrived within minutes, didn't give me great confidence that the food was "fresh". Food was ok, new potatoes were hard, think they needed a few more minutes cooking, my mother-in-law said that the prawn linguine was delicious. Music was slightly loud when trying to have a conversation.The bill arrived with an automatic added 12.5% service charge that the server pushed into the card machine before we had even looked at the bill. Beware of this, I'm all for tipping but believe this should be discretionary as to the amount based on the experience received.

Dropped here for lunch, I thought there was a wide variety to choose for but my wife was struggling as she was in the mood where she didn't know what she wanted. She eventually decided on the katsu chicken noodles and gave the thumbs up and said it was lovely. I had the duck stir fried noodles with teryakki sauce and must say that was really nice too and I would have it again.

Managed to get an outside table around 7pm - nicely sheltered with outside heaters for when it got a little cooler. Restaurant overall very spacious and clean, and well presented.

En se promenant sur le Queen’s Walk nous avions le goût d’un vrai fish & chips à l’anglaise et nous avons été attirés par le Giraffe qui en offrait un à prix raisonnable. De plus, l’établissement nous permettait de faire une petite pause sur une terrasse agréable. Même si j’avais déjà fait le choix du fish&chips;, j’ai quand même hésité à prendre autre chose, car le menu offrait une très belle variété de tapas et autres plats intéressants. Je me suis dit à ce moment que je pourrais peut-être revenir pour goûter à ces plats dans les jours suivants. Je me suis vite ravisée quand nous avons reçu nos fish&chips.; Les pauvres filets de poissons avaient l’allure de dîner congelés, des galettes minces avec une panure très mince et granuleuse. La chair du poisson était quasi inexistante, bref , un plat qui ne méritait pas d’être servi à qui que ce soit.

Everything we ate here was excellent, the Asian salads more than everything else: fresh, crisp, and originally spiced. The chicken wrap and other dishes were also very good, and the service very accommodating and friendly.

We went in for breakfast. Had to wait for someone to notice us. The restaurant was fairly busy but everyone seemed to have food in front of them. After ten minutes and not even a drinks order taken. Another group sat behind us. After another few minutes the waitress came and took the order for the table behind us. We got up and went to the door. Waited to tell the maitre d - who wasn’t at all bothered. Now in Garfunkel’s with fast, efficient service with amazing food

Lovely outdoor seating area along the South Bank. The service was very friendly and quick. The veggie options were excellent. The rice dish I chose was very tasty.

I went to the restaurant to have a meal with my mate, we asked for a table for two, we were escorted to a table, however; whether asking if I wanted to transfer to the restaurant chair they did not. However your worst part was yet to come.

Het was heel druk en we moesten even wachten tot we geholpen werden, maar het was het waard. Het eten was lekker en de zelfgemaakte drankjes ook. Prijzen waren prima in verhouding met de hoeveelheid/kwaliteit. Zeker een aanrader!

Chouette restaurant, nous sommes tombés dessus par hasard et en pleines vacances de noël, nous avons pu y manger à 6 sans réservation. Il y en a pour tous les goûts et les prix sont attractifs. Moment sympa, je recommande pour les groupes d'amis, petits budgets,...

Service was fast . Food was good . Tends to be very busy from 12 - 3 and 5 - 9 but queue moved very quickly . Menu even suited our fussy eater !

Myself and my boyfriend were in London for the weekend and went here for breakfast. Our orders were taken and our drinks were delivered. After 15 or so minutes the server came down and apologised for our food taking so long. We assured her it was no problem as we were given our drinks and didn't think we were waiting long at all.

Je kunt hier diverse gerechten eten: tapas, Turks, Indiaas etc. Voor vegetariërs is er voldoende keuze. Het eten was niet duur. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is prima. We hebben hier lekker gegeten. De drankenkaart is ook uitgebreid en het restaurant heeft een leuke sfeer.

Este fue un viernes pasado muy ocupado antes de Navidad, así que estaban comprensiblemente ocupados. A pesar de esto nuestro grupo de seis estaba sentado sin problemas. El servicio fue muy bueno y las comidas llegaron muy rápido. Pronto se explicó que las papas estaban frías, afortunadamente, el pollo que pedí estaba caliente. Sospecho que se preparó mucha comida en previsión del ajetreado período y permitieron que la calidad bajara.

Restaurant de chaîne intéressant, avec un choix de world food intelligent, un avantage lorsqu’on est en famille avec des goûts radicalement différents ! Du mexicain à l’asiatique, du british au libanais...des grands écarts réussis, personnel jeune et dynamique, avec une bonne convivialité entre eux c’est assez rare...nous avons bien aimé !

Nous avons été appâté à l'extérieur par des serveurs avec des tapas très bons et nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix. Restaurant avec une décoration moderne et classique. Personnel agréable, souriant. Le serveur à même tenté quelques mots français. Les enfants sont occupés avec des crayons et des jeux et des petites girafes en guise de touilleurs. La carte nous fait faire le tour du monde indien, mexicain, turque...j'ai opté pour un plat indien le chicken malay et mon mari pour une enchilada. Très bon mais très Spice.... épicé

Uno pidió una nueva desde el camarero, quien amablemente y enseguida, pero el nuevo cumplido uno salió el mismo! Él tenía que recoger de la partes negras. No me puedo creer que el chef no me aviso.

Ved Southbank Centre, nær Waterloo Bridge ligger denne flotte restauranten med god mat til okay priser. Hyggelig personale og at det var rent og pent i lokalet skapte et godt inntrykk. Servering både ute og inne. Servitør Bartek ga den beste service.

Very very good pancakes, one serving is enough for two. Bacon tasted great. Cappuccino was ok. Server was extremely friendly. Stopped by at dinner to ask about breakfast and the meals others were eating looked good.

Enjoyed this restaurant. Simple good food. 1/2 price burgers one day a week (forgot which day). They also offer 2 for 1 drinks at certain times. Good atmosphere for all ages.

I had already sat down and ordered a drink before i decided to take a look at the trip advisor reviews. Uh oh. So many bad reviews, i read about bad service, bad food and staff being unfriendly towards children. I was feeling nervous but didn’t feel like finding somewhere else so I persevered and ordered the veggie brunch (corn fritters, toast, two poached eggs, fried mushrooms, baked beans and avocado)

How convenient, an "Optional 12.5% Gratuity Has Been Added To Your Bill". So the most important advice I'll give to fellow Tripadvisors: do not tip here.

Went with my wife and three adult children. I had the large burger and it was good. My wife had the chicken which was cold and had to go back. Food came quickly which shows (I guess) that it comes from the freezer. Good variety of food including tapas and fish. Fast food served at your table. Giraffe does this the world over. Never great but never very poor. Good value.

Good place to go to for dinner. Plenty of different options on the menu. The place is fairly large so we were able to get a table for 10 on a Friday night with a booking. Food was good but service was a bit slow.

Un ristorante situato nel Southbank di Londra, la parte della città a sud del Tamigi nella stupenda area adatta per una tranquilla passeggiata estiva. Il ristorante è affollato, essendo molto famoso in Inghilterra ma nulla di più. Il menù e il cibo non sono all'altezza mentre il costo si. A Londra si trova molto di meglio anche con prezzi più contenuti.

We visited here after the London Eye on our way back to Waterloo station.We were seated and served quickly, ordering 2 'Mango Mama' smoothies, a classic burger and lamb tagine.After looking at the menu and asking if it was could have a plain burger with smoked cheddar, but no salad, I was advised to order the classic burger. Although the burger was lovely, it came with a huge tomato and lettuce, which had to be picked off but wasn't too much trouble. His lamb tagine tasted amazing, and I half-wish I'd of ordered the same as it tasted so good. Was also happy to see fresh onion rings rather than ones out of a packet like most places offer.Our smoothies were both lovely, and our bill came up to around £40 (with discretionary service charge) which we felt was reasonable for 2 mains and 2 drinks, especially for the location. Only thing I would say is, I felt like it was a conveyor belt of customers. Our order taken by our lady server (who was really lovely but didn't get her name, she said shes from prague though), food served by another, and checked up on by a different member of staff, even though our lovely server had already checked on our food. Same again for the bill, she went to get our bill then another man came straight over asking if we would like the bill, brought a card reader and had us on our way without her having a chance. This was a shame as we would of liked to of given her an extra tip for being so friendly. It all just felt very rushed.The food was good, but for a chilled-out meal, I don't think we would return. If you like fast, then it's a good place to go!

Il locale è molto grande e non è di quelli particolari, del resto è sulla strada che costeggia il Tamigi (Belvedere road) quindi molto turistica. Hanno un po' di tutto a prezzi ragionevoli. Io ho preso lo smashed avocado, niente male. Lo consiglio per un pranzo al volo, ma non andateci se siete amanti dei locali particolari o tipici!
