I have been coming to Rhona's for years, even during the day when I need a break from working in the office ... working on Teams all day remotely can have serious consequences - fatigue! So this is my retreat. Great big patio/sliding door to the front for those hot summer days with proper seating and long table top for my laptop and papers, and the all important space for food ! I have just come back from working oversees for 6 months and visited the cafe and was welcomed back by all the staff. I have slotted back into my routine coming here. Amazing, friendly, down to earth staff and boss , amazing food, super clean and known to all their customers. Thank you Rhona's !

When you walk in you will be hit by the overwhelming stench of oniony body odor. I have been coming here on and off for the last 17 years. I can confidently say the quality of the clientele has definitely declined, the decline correlates to the closing of the Cap in Hand. It has gone through many changes in management (thankfully there are no maggots in the beer with the current lot!), one thing stays the same. The atmosphere in the last 10 years is weird. Something is off about the place. Beer selection is okay, service is okay, decor is okay. Great garden (apart from the tables and floors being caked in bird poop). I would say it is easily the number one pub in Chessington though, but that's because there isn't much competition.
