The best restaurants serving British food in Danson Park Bexley London

Came here as the shop I used to go to seems to have closed. Was worth the extra walk though as a fair size portion of mash, tasty pie, and loads of liquor. Large mug of tea was excellent. Thanks.

Had the lunch deal, good value for money. Tasty hot honey halloumi wrap with fries and coke for £8.49. I also enjoy the vegan meatball ciabatta

Had to essentially ask to be served despite it not being busy at all….asked if I could have crusty bread was available, was told it was, but was just regular bread…and whilst I went “off menu”, what was basically a “brunch grill” anywhere else at most cafes, was charged at nearly £15 with the 2 slices and a couple of cans of soda……with a full charge for chips, but receiving just a handful…..and clearly the term “very well done bacon” was not a concept the server was used to…..very disappointed…won’t be back.

We had no issues with our visit, booking was easy, queue was a bit long but there was wedding party, so we were happy to wait, The food was good quality, hot and tasty. Since the refurb at Bexleyheath the prices have gone up, a bit cheeky but now less value at for money

The staff at the pub were lovely. We took our granddaughters 1yr and 3 yrs and Rowan was fantastic as the youngest is dairy intolerant. She asked all the appropriate questions and reassured us that the meal we had chosen was dairy free. Good choice for kids menu and very reasonable. Lots of space, food good. We will be back.
