The best restaurants serving British food in Melton and Ufford Suffolk Coastal East of England

Very good food and service, perhaps a bit expensive. It was extremely cold inside, many customers wore their coats. They need to invest in some portable heater, because it was unpleasant. The toilets are disgusting, in a separate building, a throwback to the 1970s outside pub toilet.

Constantly surprised at how bad it is. Bar staff 'I been here a week and not shown how to make tea''. Tables not cleared and filthy. Staff disillusioned (and leaving) , members disillusioned (and leaving) The owners should have stuck to running care homes. Back on the market within 5 years ?

Found this delightful pub just before Christmas. Friendly welcome and excellent menu. Food was delicious and a goid wine list. Particularly enjoyed the homemade mulled wine. Thank you for a great start to our holiday!

Great friendly gastropub in a beatiful village. We really enjoyed our stay here - there are two shepherds huts in the garden so we were able to enjoy afternoon drinks in the lovely garden followed by dinner, more drinks and then bed! Andy and the team made us feel very welcome, including our dogs. The huts are very comfortable and well equipped. Good value all round. We will be back :)
