We had a lovely meal here and this is a nice place to go for a treat meal. It’s a tad pricey, so we don’t come here simply for pop in, but if it’s a special occasion, we do. Service was good, friendly staff.

We have been to this pub before for both drinks and food, and have always been really impressed with the service. However, today, we popped in for a quick drink and were made to feel really unwelcome. The barman seemed to be annoyed that we were there (despite the fact that the pub was empty). He then turned away a group of eight people who just wanted a drink. We won't be returning.
