The best restaurants serving British food in Papworth and Elsworth South Cambridgeshire East of England

We visited for coffee and cake as it had been recommended to us . We had barista coffee which was good and not too strong . Americano and a skinny cappuccino . My hubby had a warm sausage roll, pastry cooked well with flavour filled sausage meat. I had lemon drizzle cake which was a decent portion. It was moist and not too dense with plenty of flavour. Staff were friendly and they bring the order to your table. Seating inside and out. They do rolls and they do pizzas in the evening(haven’t tried these)

Booked afternoon tea for my birthday, which fell on the Christmas package. The food was lovely. The decor and attention to detail were amazing. I will definitely be booking again next year

Lovely character country pub. Real ales and good food. Friendly helpful staff. Best smoked salmon sandwich ever. Lager good too.
