We visited for coffee and cake as it had been recommended to us . We had barista coffee which was good and not too strong . Americano and a skinny cappuccino . My hubby had a warm sausage roll, pastry cooked well with flavour filled sausage meat. I had lemon drizzle cake which was a decent portion. It was moist and not too dense with plenty of flavour. Staff were friendly and they bring the order to your table. Seating inside and out. They do rolls and they do pizzas in the evening(haven’t tried these)

Stopped here today thinking I’d pick up a cake but on arriving despite being tempted by the delicious looking jammy dodger flapjack I spotted a tasty looking array of rolls. I chose the roasted vegetable and caramelised onion humours with goats cheese... warmed.... oh my goodness it was delicious... the roll was focaccia (I think) opening the bag (all paper- eco friendly-I liked) the rosemary herbs and roasted vegetable smell made my mouth water. The fillings were perfect and totally delicious, it was very good value and the staff were lovely and friendly. I would highly recommend. Might have to sample the flapjack too next time!!!! PS I’ve never felt compelled to write a review before but felt this gem absolutely deserved one.

A diversion off the A14 meant we passed the door of this little gem today. We were met with a friendly welcome and as we sat enjoying our coffees, we were offered an alternative, more scenic route away from the diverted traffic. (A big thank you for that and you were right, lovely views en-route)! The cafe itself was very nice, subtle decor with a nice big leather sofa to chill on and somewhere pleasant to simply pass the time. There's a very good chance we shall be back when we next head to Cambridge.

In truth, we stumbled on this hidden gem having been diverted from the A14 onto the A428. A unique coffee shop where the customers choose the next coffee bean to be bought, roasted, ground on site and ultimately consumed by those in the shop. All the cakes. pastries, hot food, is all home made with local produce. Avoid the A14 Cambridge Services and use The Courtyard Coffee shop. We only needed to use the conveniences, but after our 'nature' break, coffee, cake and wonderful hospitality we left 50 minutes later!

Local coffee shop to me. They do a good range of drinks from coffees to fruit teas to milkshakes. I hate milkshakes, but I always order one here as they are so tasty!!!! They stock a range of locally made drinks and homemade cakes etc. My toddler has a little corner with books and colouring a few toys to play with so she’s also entertained while we are there. Never been disappointed. Free WiFi. Free water. And a good sized easily accessible toilet for anyone in wheelchair. Friendly and pleasant place.

I met a friend for coffee at the Courtyard Coffee Shop. The staff were warm, friendly and polite. We had coffee cake and a sausage roll . These were all reasonably priced. It was nice to see that the Coffee Shop was supported by local people . We will definitely go back in the future.

Lovely local coffee shop with great home made cakes/pastries and good coffee. As we live locally and often visit I felt it was fair to give an unbiased review. The new owners have done a fantastic job of providing a high quality offering. The decor is simple but welcoming and the service is always great!

We were visiting Papworth while my uncle was undergoing heart surgery and this place gave us time out from the hospital. The food was lovely but more importantly I think the owners wife was absolutely a godsend in encouraging us during a stressful time. It was easy to return and her personal interest in our welfare and that of the patient made us feel very cared for. Please open a place in Ipswich and also take time out to visit the coffee plantations as u work so hard. U are truly a kind and lovely person who made a difficult week bearable. Almost an angel in disguise. So a big heartfelt thank u and remember prayer does work. Thanks for the privaledge of time out at the cafe with your care. My Aunt and cousin will not forget this. Uncle is now home and recovering slowly but surely. When they go back for their out of appointment they will personally visit to express their gratitude and show you 'the patient's in person!

Popped in for a coffee frenzy whilst my wife was undergoing tests...what a surprise! Gorgeous coffee, and a gloriously crusty ciabatta filled with mozzarella, tomato & pesto that has made me consider [shhhh] dosing my wife's breakfast toast so I can come here more often! [Never again need I set foot in that corporate gastronomic black hole on the hospital site!].

My first visit to the Courtyard was when it first opened. I was served by a lady and a man who possibly own the place. The service was good and coffee was good. The second time I visited there were two new people serving. The coffee this time was really below par. I overheard another customer complaining about it too. I’m hoping this place doesn’t deteriorate purely because the owners have decided to employ other people to serve who do not seem to know how to make good coffee, or haven’t been trained well enough to do it properly. My only other issue with this place is that the size of pieces of cakes, flapjacks etc is relatively small in comparison to other cafes in Cambridge and surrounding areas. Bottom line is the place could be good IF the right staff are employed.

5 star Review ⭐️ I have to say, I’m only writing this because I can’t quite believe how friendly professional and kind the lady’s of Linton Kitchen ALL are, it’s a pleasure to go in, and then to top it off the coffee food and homemade delicious cakes make it the place to go any day of the week. I have to give special thanks to Alex, whom has never had anything other than the brightest smile on her face and my son now loves going in to get special attention from Alex. Linton kitchen staff, you’ve made moving here an easier experience for me and a warm welcoming home from home hub to go too.
