The best restaurants serving British food in West Peterborough East of England

Love the woodman but disappointed I can never have a hot drink as they don’t have non dairy milk. I was offered semi-skimmed! Not great if you’re lactose intolerant.

Basic pub food. Only keg lagers/beers. Coffee abysmal. Not enough staff so expect long waits to get served. A nice location with a view down the rowing lake. A seal or two sometimes in residence in the lake or adjacent river basin.

Food was great, service was speedy and smiley. Will come again
