The best restaurants serving British food in Caister North Great Yarmouth East of England

We spotted this fish and chip shop on our way in to Havens Caister holiday park. There was 14 of us and the Ladies in there were so friendly and accommodating, they moved tables around so that we could all sit together. The food was all brought out at the same time and was delicious and all cooked freshly. The prices were so reasonable too. We would highly recommend this little gem. You won’t be disappointed.

Went for Sunday Carvery, Obviously going to be very busy. Food was great, problem was that lots of the young people were Vaping in there. Should be treated the same as smoking and be not allowed. Lots of youngsters Vaping, swearing out loud at each other and their kids. Modern society i suppose, but not in a restaurant please.

The first time we used this pub was about seven years ago. The landlady was extremely friendly and we spent ages chatting, and we must of easily spent well over £100 on several occasions. A while later we returned, and I wish we hadn't!! Never in my life have I experienced rudeness and misery from the same person! Me and my wife were looked at like we were pieces of detritus, no thanks, no goodbye, nothing. We didn't go in there for a couple of years and went again recently, to give the benefit of the doubt, as we thought they may of been having a bad day, but low and behold, EXACTLY the same attitude, everything! After reading other reviews, I see we aren't the only recipients of zero customer service! We are only a two minute walk from the pub when we are visiting relatives in Caister, but I will never go back, I'd rather get a taxi down the road and spend my money elsewhere.
