Amazing food, served hot. All three meals arrived at the same time. Definitely going back, probably try an evening next time.

On arrival we thought this looked a nice place for breakfast. We found a table by ourselves we waited then went to the staff. God forbid they actually looked after their customers and asked for a menu for breakfast to be told they have stopped serving breakfast and there will be an hour wait For the switchover of menu I am so pleased that they clearly with only three tables used could afford to turn down our family of five whom would’ve all had food and drinks. Sadly, we can’t come in on the food or drinks because they were too busy on their phones and talking to each other to worry about the elusive paying Customer

We had a spontaneous trip out and stopped at the Maltsters Pub , we were hungry so decided to order the Roast Beef. Oh my God was it good, the Beef melted in the mouth and it looked as good as it tasted. Staff were friendly and did their very best to look after us while we were there. We will be coming back to try more, my waistline may not thank me though. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of my food as I was hungry and tucked in!

We arrived just outside the regular lunchtime but it was still busy and people were arriving all the time. Car parking is a reasonable size, but also serves the Brewery and shop. We hadn't booked, but a table was found in the bar area which was a little tight. The menu is varied so I chose Stuffed Parma chicken with buttered greens and mash. The broccoli was a little too al dente and the tomato sauce tasted like it had come out of a tin. My husband had a steak and ale pie which wasn't very big and had hard pastry, but the filling was OK. He also had broccoli and mash. Together with 2 Appletisers, the bill came to £43 which was too expense for what it entailed. Not somewhere I'd return to.
