Stopped here as the second night of our cycle trip to do the Rebellion Way. The pub couldn't have been any more helpful. They found space for our bikes, food and service was excellent and the price was very reasonable.

We stayed here over the weekend for a wedding. Lovely room with large bed and modern bathroom. We arrived late after work and the staff were so helpful in sorting dinner for us even though the kitchen was closing, we really appreciated this after a long drive! Delicious food and breakfast with lots of gluten free options which was great as I have coeliacs. Thanks for a great stay!

We visited for Sunday lunch family of 3 adults 2 children (14 & 11) plus 3 dogs Had a lovely table inside plenary of room and very comfortable Good service prompt and charming 3 of us had roast dinners (2 roast beef 1 roast chicken) with the biggest Yorkshire puddings ever 1 had fish and chips then 1 children’s chicken strips with chips and beans changed to broccoli (unusual child) Portions are huge even defeated teenage boy with hollow legs! Even the children’s potion was huge. The roast beef was soooo tender and stuffing with the chicken was greatly enjoyed Food is fresh and hot and delicious! We normally love a pudding but felt too full this time. Good value for money 5 people would highly recommend.

Lots of empty tables outside we thought we would stop and have lunch as the big a frame board outside stated home made lunches. My partner went in to get a menu only to be told we do not do food. Might explain all the empty tables. I would suggest removing the a frame advertisement as well to save wasting other peoples time.
