Amazing. Every single time!! A new menu every visit and the cakes are absolutely delicious too. The flavour that gets packed into particularly the veggies is out of this world!
Staying in St Dogmaels for a week so popped in this little cafe midweek for lunch. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was yummy. We each had a slice of Frittata with homemade salads and cucumber pickle, really delicious, with Chocolate brownie and a very yummy nut covered slice. Will be going back today for some of the homemade scones …..watched them being made yesterday. Thank you to the young lady who gave me her recipe for cucumber pickles. Will definitely try those on return to Tasmania.
We went to Loafley a number of times during our stay in Tenby. The cakes are superb and change regularly so we never had the same one twice. The bread is also fresh and the staff are very friendly. Would recommend.
Went for dinner with family - the steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked.
From the outside the pub looks a bit innocuous but great chef and lovely friendly staff.
Called in and ordered 2 coffees and two slices of toast and the young lad was going to charge me £10.40. I walked out in disgust, thought I would give it another try after having a very poor breakfast with raw sausages. Never will I go back.
The food that I had here was exceptional. I had the gourmet pizza which was very tasty and the dough balls and meat board we had to start was so tasty I could have carried on eating them all day. The staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be returning
My go to for a quiet coffee with a warm welcome
I hate eating/drinking on my own but I never feel like that here
Relaxed vibes, good coffee and great cakes
Amazing crab sandwich and lobster roll. First lobster roll they've made to order and was faultless. Beautiful fresh seafood taken back to the apartment, complimented by a glass of white and a panoramic view of Newgale Beach
Great food, particularly the cakes. The owner and staff are always friendly and welcoming. We always pop in when we are going through Cilgerran.
Very sad to see the "for sale" sign
Lovely setting and decor. Friendly and accommodating staff. All the family, 6 adults and 3 kids, had Sunday roast dinner and pudding. Food very tasty and plenty of it especially the gravy. Will have no hesitation in returning to Caffi Traeth. Excellent.
I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open !
I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this !
It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still !
The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele!
Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x
Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales.

I messaged the restaurant to book Sunday lunch via Facebook messenger but when I found out only beef & pork were available I said I wouldn’t be able to come as don’t eat beef or pork. I had asked for chicken. Kerry the owner was more than happy to accommodate & arranged for the chef to cook me chicken specially which was delicious. On arrival had a warm welcome. Love the ambience and attention to detail and customer service was second to none! Well done Madisons!
