The best restaurants in Newport South Wales

My daughter saved me a bit of work & ordered 2 roast dinners for me and my son 1 chicken and 1 roast beef. Absolutely lovely beef was very tender , 4 good slices , son had 5 slices chicken realy lovely roasters crispy outside & fluffy inside. Yorkshire puddings really nice . I would recommend these roast dinners any time . Excellent variety of vegetables. Thank you, it made a change to have it put for me.

Went for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago. Very reasonably prices £10.00 for 3 courses. Prawn cocktail for starters which was delicious. Roast beef and fresh vegetables were plentiful, and good choice of deserts. Staff are very friendly, will definitely go again

One of the best Chinese I've had since moving over here a few months ago, the veg was fresh and the food was lovely highly recommend the beef in black bean sauce!

The best fish and chips we’ve had! So tasty, the chips are amazing and the homemade coleslaw is something else! Lovely chap who runs it and would highly recommend

Keralan karavan Raj burger was delicious onion bhaji was really nice the samosa was soft and lacked some flavour

Decent all round coffee house on the site of a former coffee house. No frills but with good coffee.

Love this place. Friendly, relaxing . We go there every week. When the sun is shining it stays all day on the terrace overlooking the river . Owner Simon is a nice guy and Oreanne his sidekick is really friendly. Mary x

La comida es deliciosa! 😁 Really enjoyed our meal there. Good portions, full of flavour, well seasoned, authentic Spanish food. The chef, Anton, and his wife, were lovely, often checking if all was Ok, but not intrusive. The gambas were so good, we had seconds! The churros were some of the best we've had. We booked to return on our way out. What a find! Just YUMMY 😋 Just spent another lovely evening at New Ole. La comida fue increible... Gracias Juan y Faye. A lovely welcome back, like visiting friends. Booked to return for a family celebration, as I know we won't be disappointed Hasta muy pronto! 😁
