Lovely meal, as always nice and hot the staff are very welcoming.

Highly recommended had a fabulous evening upstairs this evening for my partners 60th birthday.Food was amazing luvved by all 20 of us.Waiter service brilliant .We shall all be back soon .Thanks so much outstanding food and service

I was taken out for a retirement meal Thursday March 28th by my friend. The 2 waiters were not friendly and impatient. They jumped onto us straight away, we hadn't even seen the menus. My friend wanted a rose and asked the waiter to recommend one, he didn't have a clue, so I helped her to choose. My friend had mushrooms to start I did not want a starter. My friend had chicken in a mushroom cream sauce, it did not look very appetising, she left a lot of it. I had carbonera, it was awful, very dry and the pasta stuck together. This is usually my favourite dish. The Aldi ready meal carbonera is so much better. I decided not to have a dessert as my main was so disappointing. I will not be going back. Waste of £60

This was a gem of find, especially at lunchtime. Took the mother for a birthday meal, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, attentive and conscientious for dietary requirements. The food was tasty, well cooked, and with the lunchtime deal, well priced. Would definitely return.

Lovely lil restaurant with really friendly service. We asked for pasta without alcohol and they came through. My niece reallly really like the pasta. Pizza was great, bruschetta was lovley too. Nice and quiet when we came too.

Absolutely outstanding Italian food. Everything is freshly cooked and to order. All the dishes served are authentic Italian and the flavours are incredible. We went here once for lunch as we live locally to the restaurant and ended up going back for 6 consecutive Saturdays. Friendly and attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere, fantastic menu. Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Newport and one of the best Italian restaurants we've been to in the UK. Highly recommend.

First visit and a great find. Good food, friendly efficient service, nice surroundings and atmosphere.

Last time we tried to order decided what we wanted and website said they delivered called up but they didn't 😩. Glad we tried again definitely not disappointed. Delivery sooner than stated. Food couldn't of been hotter if we had been sat in the kitchen waiting. Quality and taste out of this world highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We went for my mother in laws 70th and everything was excellent. The food was gorgeous, the service was outstanding. Just fantastic. Thank you to all the staff.

A hidden gem! We were a large group of 12, food and service was excellent. Second time, and now my regular!

Absolutely stunning food. Very very tasty. My partner had the fillet steak, which was buttery soft and cooked to medium perfection. I had the arrabiata, which I asked for no olives and additional chicken. It came as I had asked, and was probably the best I've ever had. Staff are also super friendly, attentive and wonderful. Go book your table!!!!.

Visited Fratelli’s for the first time, on Saturday 4th November ‘23. We were warmly welcomed, shown to our table, and drinks order taken. Fabulous choice of food on the menu, we settled for bread & balsamic, and the Frito Misto starters, seafood risotto and tagliatelle with scallops. Absolutely amazing food, not a single criticism, it was hot, and very authentic Italian. My risotto was creamy, well seasoned, and contained excellent quality seafood. My partner devoured the tagliatelle, said it was divine ! We couldn’t help but order desserts, after seeing another table receive theirs ! We had cannoli, and panacota which were both fabulous ! We had limoncello shots, on the house, which was a lovely touch, and really ended our evening with a smile. The staff, and our server, were so friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. The final bill was reasonable considering what we’d had, and we will definitely be visiting again ! Fratelli’s is a little gem of a restaurant, so glad we decided to book.

I visited this restaurant 3 times now food excellent . Yesterday we were served by a more mature lady very frosty . I asked politely if I don’t finish the wine I purchased can I take home . I was refused .

It was my wife’s Birthday so we went for a birthday meal. Food was amazing. Pizza and Tiramisu was Amazing. Really nice atmosphere. Staff were attentive and looked after us well. Overall cosy place and great food

Looking for a special birthday lunch. It is our first time here and it was superb. Service was excellent and not intrusive. My wife and I had meatballs for starters and followed by rib eye steak chicken main course. We were so pleased with our first visit and will be back soon. Thank you.

It's amazing restaurant in Newport. Their food is delicious, always warm and beautifully decorated. Carbonara and Pollo con spinache are the best. They have all drinks, their desserts are homemade. This restaurant can accomodate 90 people, so it's a very good place for parties, weddings and other solemn events. Everywhere is clean, the toilet has a very nice picture and smells pleasantly of vanilla.

The restaurant managed to seat our party of 8 at very short notice. Wow, what a find! Everything was superb, lovely interior and atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly staff. Will definitely return!

Thank you for making our time today special. You were attentive and patient with my father, nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was amazing and a great variety was ordered, all of it was hot and very tasty when it arrived. Five of our group were Italian and they agreed it was a lovely meal. Was a bit hesitant to try a new restaurant, but I am so glad I did. The service was fantastic, Luca was an amazing host. I had the Pollo Dolce Latte and it tasted fresh and full of flavour. Food arrived quickly and there was a great atmosphere. Me and my friends had a great night, after sitting and eating we had flashbacks of our trip to Milan a few years ago. So happy to have found my new favourite restaurant in Newport. See you next week Luca

We arrived during lunch time. We had no reservation but they accommodate us! The staff were super friendly. The service was good veryyyy good very fast !! The food was absolutely amazing ! Had the best time! Definitely recommend the place and will come back again !

Ordered a meat pizza and vegetable risotto to take away The pizza was average and the risotto was just awful It was the texture of rice pudding , over salty and the vegetables were stingy Such a shame for our new local Italian restaurant

I am super excited about this new Italian restaurant in our Newport area. Amazing customer service with super delicious pasta and very tasty starters . From now on Fratelli is my favourite place in Newport , I highly recommend to visit and enjoy . I also booked for next week and I am looking forward to it .
