Consistently good pub food, quality and value for money. Nicely decorated and tidy throughout. The selections on the menu are suitable for most and the staff are welcoming, attentive and helpful with requests. Ideal for groups, couples, parties and families with children. The restaurant can fill up to maximum some nights so booking is a good idea as it's a popular venue. There is a bar area if the restaurant is full. The back garden has a sectioned off play area which can be used during nice weather while the other half is an AstroTurf and concrete beer garden with benches and a covered area. Stars not given for; unsatisfactory toilets. Every time - we find something dirty or in desperate need of renewing. Dank and dark grey. Preference towards dining customers. Drink-only customers need to use the small bar side for service.

Service was good but on this occasion the food was poor. The wife and I ordered steak pie peas and chips . The pie was so salty my wife could not eat most of it , the chips looked like they had been cooked in old oil and the peas were cold. The only positive the meat was tender but salty. Hope this is a one off previous meals have been fine.

Cheaper than most places! Best chicken and sweetcorn soup I’ve ever had! X

Guy serving swearing at my 14 year old and her friends. Called them CU@Ts for ordering separately and not together. When I rang to complain he denied it. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and they don’t deserve your custom
