What a beautiful little pub. Popped in after work for the first time and the staff was so inviting and friendly. A lot of farmers etc in there, quite busy but everyone was friendly and welcoming and was a great atmosphere. Will be definitely returning. Didn’t taste the food but it smelt amazing ♥️

Booked for Sunday lunch 2 of us had lamb which was tough fed back to kitchen not much veg, a desert spoon of peas cabbage and carrots between 3 people.

Had a really nice chicken tikka masala and fish & chips whilst staying in an Airbnb close by. Really nice guys there too, worth visiting just for a chat with Nav

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming smile. Nothing was too much trouble, we were even allowed to take the dogs in. Vast choice of menu, with or without chips. My husband had chicken tikka bites, great idea for fusion food, and I had a chicken tikka wrap, all with chips! Sat outside and ate it. Great experience

Pub in Littlemill now with a new name (The Little Jockey, I think) and run by the Horse and Jockey team from New Inn. Friendly helpful staff and reasonable prices.

We had a lovely walk along the canal and then back to penelope's cafe for coffee and cake, good sevice and reasonably priced

Nice pub, good beer. Didn't eat. Quiet for a Saturday night.

What a fabulous little coffee shop the food was amazing with the best toastie I have ever tasted and dog friendly too. I will definitely be back soon.

We have stopped at this cafe a few times before after a walk along the canal bank. The service was good, but only 1 person making drinks and ordering food. We always order a breakfast, a large and the standard. The breakfast was superb and the quality of the food is really good. The only downside was that the hot food was put onto cold plates. Next time I will mention if we could have a hot plate. We will be back.
