The best restaurants in Cardiff South Wales

Been twice now and had a great time. The staff are amazingly knowledgeable about the (hundreds of) games they have. They have games for all ages, competive and co-op.

Visited as I was gifted a voucher, but will definitely be back. What a treat. The food was superb, but what really shone out was the service from Abi: thank you. She is an absolute asset, and made our evening. From realising that the group next door were quite loud and offering to pull the door across, to balancing professionalism and humour perfectly. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food (although I'm annoyed he refused to participate in dessert, I wanted to try both!) The lemon choux was absolute perfection.

The best chicken in South Wales, This is by far the best cooked chicken I've had in South Wales.

The food here is amazing 10/10! I had the half and half of rice and chips with the coconut curry and cauliflower bites and it was to die for! Not too spicy but just spicy enough to hit your taste buds. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to go to Cardiff market!

Pim's@icookthai is literally run by one man: Pim himself. He is your chef, waiter, and entertainer, all rolled into one delightful and neat Thai package. The restaurant feels like a cozy living room, with seating for a maximum of about 14 people. We pre-ordered our dishes, and Pim came around to double-check them before whisking off to the kitchen. The Chicken Satay was stunning, and the Thai Green Curry was a pot of perfection. After the delicious meal, Pim seamlessly transforms from chef to entertainer. He picks up the guitar, and you take the mic for karaoke, creating a warm atmosphere full of good vibes. This place is more than just a meal—it's an experience.

Hidden gem in the centre of Cardiff. Excellent affordable vegan indian food, always quiet in there and service is great.

I called multiple times today to place an order but the phone call was very awkward.. the phone was answered but noone would speak. It was quite uncomfortable and unprofessional for a business so I will go elsewhere..

First visit. Had a beetroot latte and husband had hot chocolate which were devine and hot, not luke warm like other places. Staff were very friendly. Interior very pleasing and clean. Location is a plus. Try them, you won't regret it 😉

Not the service you would expect from someone who’s supposed to be an example for the rest of the team. I’m talking about the manager Maria. Coming from someone who works in Greggs, that’s not how you’re taught to communicate with a customer.

The worst food and restaurant, I went to this restaurant for lunch. I ordered food, their services were very poor, the waiter brought soup without tray with dirty hands, plates were dirty and not nice. when they brought food on the table, meat and rice were not cooked properly. when I spoke to the receptionist, they were very rude. briefly, the worst restaurant.

What a beauty of a place. Popped in here for a breakfast on break with 3 work friends. The food was spot on. Served hot & fast. Highly recommend. Nice friendly staff too
