The best restaurants in Maesteg East Bridgend South Wales

All food cooked fresh. Well presented. Staff very efficient.

We were in Maesteg for a visit and thought we’d call into the market but found it had permanently closed 5 months previously. This cafe used to be in the market but is now in a precinct area just outside of it. We both went for the all day breakfast for £4 - great value - bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown, beans or tomatoes, mushrooms and toast as well as a mug of tea or coffee. For an extra £1 you could have had another egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown and a slice of black pudding. The place was clean and tidy and the staff friendly. If we ever return to Maesteg we’d be happy to return here.

When in measteg will try and call into simply pancakes great choices.The staff are great and will always have a chat.

Chinese takeaway only no delivery. Best Chinese in maesteg in my opinion. The look of the shop is pretty poor inside but don’t let that fool you. The food is beautiful! The smoked chicken with garlic is outstanding. We have ordered here a few times and always enjoyed

The chips could have been cooked nicer but other than that, fantastic! The cleanliness is perfect, the customer service is top notch! My brother has profound additional needs so the patience from the waitresses were fantastic! Thank you ever so much!! It does look really run down and unwelcoming on the outside, management does need to sort that out. I did have concerns but when I saw others inside, I was happy to try it and I am thrilled that I did. Burgers were filling!! Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

Just had battered sausage just found a bit of plastic in there. I bought 2 now I have to chuck them out not risking any more plastic in there.

ordered a meal off use 3 days inn a row now and today I ordered the same chicken burger meal I received the food tonight and it was just a chicken burger they charge £6.80 for a burger and then a meal is only £9 so ring the store and asked them and the mangers attitude was disgusting I will not be ordering from here again don't open a shop if you haven't got the customer service attduide thanks very much

Came to pick up takeaway with my father. Friendly welcome, very polite and diligent staff dispite being really busy (10/09) Generous portion sizes and very good price. Will absolutely reccomend!
