This is a new business and is found behind the Garage at the Trawsfynydd/Bala junction. I had far to go but not a lot of time on my hands and saw this food van. I went to have a look and found a very clean, handy little gem. Breakfast was the main item but plenty of variety. I had a delicious cheeseburger, hubby had a huge bacon and sausage sandwich which was also delicious. The young lady was very chatty and pleasant, and kept a very tight ship! A very handy, convenient little business, and I wish them all the best in their new venture.

Fantastic restaurant and bar, ran by wonderful and attentive people. Great food served in a superb building set in a truly wonderful location. My only criticism would be the use of walkie talkies amongst staff within the dining room - they’re loud, unprofessional and really are a buzz kill! Please, please stop this :) other than that, perfect visit.

Not sure why others have posted about staying here as it appears this place has been closed for a while and a sign is posted on the door, closed and available only by appointment. The grounds are breathtaking but neglected probably for maybe a year or two. The building is majestic from the other side of the valley.

Came here for Christmas Day and very disappointed. Had to wait ages for food and no welcome or sign of much organisation when we arrived. Appeared that the staff were run off their feet trying to cope with the huge number of diners. Not their fault but clearly not enough people running the place. Not a good look for Christmas Day . We had to remind and remind people that we were there and waiting for food and it spoiled the experience. I would expect better on Christmas Day so won’t be rushing back . Food was good when it came. Fine as a regular carvery but not for a special occasion based on our experience.

Not the best of service, could not set up a tab for our drinks and meal had to pay separate, when waitress came to take drinks order was told only Gordon’s gin and pink gin and Aber falls asked if any raspberry gin answer was no, when leaving seen a hole shelf full of different gins. I ordered mozzarella and haddock fish cakes I was given mozzarella sticks, my husband ordered a 12oz gamon which was no bigger than a beef burger definitely not 12oz, waited over half an hour after eating main meal to have to go find someone to order puddings to then be told kitchen is closed. Waitress could do with a smile and knowledge of what drinks are behind the bar and chef needs to learn weight of the meats before being advertised. Definitely won’t be going again
