Went into the toilets tonight 24/05/25 and someone had obvs been unwell in the toilet. I tried my best to clean it up but staff came in and accused me of said offence. In be known to them I have a colostomy bag and I’m unable to go myself. I was asked to leave. I was humiliated and felt disgusted. I will not be back. Food was nice though. Just not a place for people with a disability. I had to fling out all my clothes. Not happy 😡 I know this is not the staffs fault but to make judgements is their fault

I noticed Three app was offering £1 coffee on the weekly Coffee Network and thought I would try this wee place! Apparently quite a iconic wee cafe. Straight away was welcomed and apparently I was first person to use this scheme! Lots of jars of old school sweeties and had a lovely vibe with juke box! Great coffee with plant based milk and friendly owner! It will definitely stay on my list 💙💙💙We sat outside in sun

Had a great meal in this place. The chicken Balmoral was cooked perfectly. It was moist and not dry. The atmosphere was a bit loud. Good family restaurant and plenty of children were there.

Had an excellent fish tea tonight as always👍, cant recommend enough the service and quality. Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jo 🎂all the very best.

Been going to the Kandy for years and it never lets you down, great service, staff always smiling and the food is excellent.

Haven't been to The Elms in years, I was actually at the Doctors surgery

We have visited here last year also and had to come back. The food is lovely, the surroundings are beautiful and the staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. There is a gift shop attached and the Highland cows nearby. Also there are the Jacobite cruises that leave from nearby.

Didn't get my food tonight. It was 2 hours late, didn't accept as it was luke warm. Extremely disappointed, as we are regularly customers. Probably won't be back now

Fantastic staff make you welcome

Attended the “champion shell” pub on the 20th of December. Place was busy FOH, staff members were lovely we only had one issue and that was the price of the meal, this place has upper class standards all people in the bar were friendly and helped direct us to smoking area & toilets. Only issue is there no active advertisement. Very tasteful food. Warm and cozy homely atmosphere

Busy place, everything was cooked fresh and they did a battered smoked sausage which was amazing. Good value for money.

Perfect fish supper, 2 large pieces of fresh haddock; thick fillets and a generous portion of freshly made chips. Spot on.

Apart from the local lads sorting their drugs in the beer garden it's a well layed out pub. Will i go back? NO.

I was searching for a decent kebab place this side of Glasgow for years and i finally found it. Excellent quality donner with plenty of fresh healthy salad and homemade chilli sauce. Although, putting chilli sauce on top of the salad seems to be a local trend I prefer my chilli sauce underneath the salad, so i have to ask for this specifically when ordering.
