The Albion Bar in North Ayrshire

Last night my wife of 35 years phoned me in tears she was on a works night out one of the female door staff was rude and would not let my wife back into the albion bar stating she was to drunk .she wasn't that drunk when I picked her up if my wife got hurt last night it would be a different story.

No food available due to illness, very loud, no separate eating area, staff very nice.

Really good at night time at the weekend I went on a Saturday night and really enjoyed the music and atmosphere. They do dance music on a Saturday and karaoke on Sunday, I really enjoyed the Saturday night I recommend the Albion Bar for a night out in Saltcoats.

Fab pub! My dad and I came down to Saltcoats for the day to take my dog to the beach and were looking for somewhere to go after for some food. Every single person in the pub was so lovely and showered wee Alfie with affection and was chatty with us too. The food was lovely too (both just had paninis) ans every tune that came on was a banger! Special shout out to the barmaid (sorry I didn’t catch her name) who was so genuinely friendly and amazing! We will definitely come back down again soon thank you so much 🩷

Great place to be. In the centre of Saltcoats. David dose an amazing job doing the entertainment, the staff are fantastic. Entertainment every night except Tuesday

Great wee pub always busy at weekend and great party atmosphere good all round good night out. Definitely worth the visit and as a Dj that sometimes works in there it’s always a blast staff are fantastic.

Top night! Large age range nice atmosphere great staff! Been over 15 years since I was out in Saltcoats! Karaoke was brilliant!

Horrible pub. Full of alcoholics and tarts. Never changed. Seemingly the owner watches everything by camera in the pub while sitting at home. If anyone says this is a good pub they are missing out on life

Liked the ambiance of the pub. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice support of an additional outside meal business. Yes you have to wait, but the unison of the two businesses works well. Would use again when in the area.

Lovely friendly little pub. We always pop in when through from Glasgow. Dogs welcome which is always a bonus for us!

Great pub great beer and great staff . We were made to feel so welcome . They remembered our drinks 2 nights later and had a real good laugh ... from the tennants and strongbow drinker from Yorkshire... we will be back

Coping well with the lock down. To order a drink, you go to a pre-arranged part of the bar, give your order (keeping socially-distanced), and another member of the bar team brings your order. While you pay for your round of drinks, you will be asked to provide your name and contact phone number, in the event that somebody infectious is there at the same time as you. All the protocols seem to be followed rigorously, so there is minimum risk of becoming infected by covid.

Decent wee local and reasonably priced pub, albeit a bit rough around the edges. Dog friendly too. Bar staff were very helpful.

Good pub but only 2 toilets which both got blocked and everyone had to leave. Lovely garden area.

I went to see if I could find a person called Tracy, school worker, but I met a lot of friendly people who made me feel welcome. Staff are very helpful and the prices are very good. Try it, basic but not a bad thing

Good pub but toilets are disgusting

A little bit of a dive inside but fairly popular. Some right characters frequent the place, some a bit rough around the edges. The drinks are a little cheaper than some of the other pubs in the town.
