The best restaurants in Northfield Aberdeen City North East Scotland

Just had Afternoon Tea at The Chinwag Cafe, Newmachar and thoroughly enjoyed it, it’s a definite ’must have’. We are very lucky to have this great cafe on our doorstep. The food is faultless (especially the strawberry tarts 😂) and the staff are warm, welcoming and cheery. I highly recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed in hotel from Saturday 27th till Tuesday 30th. Rooms were very clean and bed was excellent. All staff were very pleasant and well mannered,and went over and above to make the stay very pleasurable. Food in restaurant was excellent and even cooked a dish not on menu for me to try.

Cookies are all the same with a tiny bit of the 'flavour' on top but they still taste good

Food was ok,the flavour was there but very watery,only 2.4 miles away but took 2 hrs for delivery

First time here , it was their turn in my so far fruitless hunt for a good chinesetakeaway in Aberdeen, simple order 2 special fried rice pancake rolls and salt and pepper ribs.Prices on a par with most served fairly quickly and out and away.No problems with that side .Portion sizes nae to bad .partner thought the pancake rolls were pretty decent and my ribs were ok bit short on actual meat but that’s par for the course really.specials had a good amount on meats and seafood ,but we both found them a touch salty and for me it was a touch oily but herself did not agree with that.This all in mind,this place is better than the majority we have tried and certainly worth it if you are in the area and fancy chinese food .will give it an other shot with different options before making my decision to adopt as a go to or not.The star rating for food of 3 is a bit low but a 4 would be high,thems the breaks on a out of 5 rating system so a 3.5 would be where I would rate it.

Normally really good but chips was awful this time tasted microwaved won’t be ordering again after phoning boy was rude on phone and didn’t care

Let me place an order online. Then waited 20 minutes to call me and say i’m too far for delivery and i won’t get my refund for 3 days!!!

Love the food, quick delivery, excellent customer service, by far the best kebab in town, 10/10 would recommend!

the chips were green and the king rib was disgusting and inedible.

Got food from there last night order was wrong food was greasy in the past had order missing would not recommend this place

Waited over 45 minutes probably close to an hour for the food to arrive . When it finally did it was that cold it could have been taken out of a fridge and delivered . Unacceptable in my opinion , I would like a refund or at least a HOT replacement at your earliest convenience. Also a reply to my message last night would also be helpful

Ordered a salt and pepper sharing box , was all chips and very little meat rather disappointed for £16 , another Chinese take away does double meat and less chips for £19 , other wise when we've ordered meals each been lovely, so don't be stingy with your meat bits on sharing box!!!
